Twilight and Shining Armor are hired to help with a huge group project that involves drawing down an ice asteroid to Appleloosa to fill their reservoirs. But Queen Chrysalis, in another gamble to take over Equestria, intends to sabotage the attempt by bringing down the asteroid upon Celestia, Luna, and all of Appleloosa. However, Twilight and her brother get help from an unlikely ally: a changeling named Mirror who has unique shape-shifting abilities and whose loyalties are torn between her queen and her conscience.

How odd, this story coming up right before the whole Russian meteorite/DA-14 shenanigans. Either way, seems pretty good so far. I feel like it's usually a lose-lose situation reading a story that only has one chapter up. It could either be bad, and I would waste my time with it since no one else stated their opinion on it, or I could like it, and be left with my stomach unfilled. So far, this certainly appears to be quite ambitious...goodness, I really do sound snobby, don't I? So...uh...yeah. Keep up the good work, all I'm trying to say.

That was nice. I like that neither Twilight not Shining are portrayed as holding a massive grudge towards the changelings, and I think it's the first time I've seen the changelings themselves convince Chryssie to relent.
