Princess Luna is one night outside when she encounters an strange orb of energy.

Well, it's kind of ok so far, there are a few things I'd like to point out.

A little too well, for inhabitants of metro if you ask me. You see, an average guy from Metro would most likely kill poor Luna while she was incapacitated. Or, what's even more likely, he'd run like hell. Anything unknown and weird-looking = dangerous, and probably has something in store for you, most likely much worse than death. Actually, those guys wouldn't even go there in the first place. Strange noise from the tunnel = grab onto that machinegun, and pray that whatever comes out can be killed with bullets.
Did you read the novels, or just played the game? You have to remember that our resident badass Artyom, or Colonel Miller and his rangers are not your typical inhabitants of the metro. Normal guys are scared shitless to go out into the tunnels, except when in large groups. Surface is out of the question, stalkers are exceptional guys. Even presumably safe tunnels can surprise you in more ways than you can imagine.
Anyways. Like I said, it's Ok so far, but get yourself a proof-reader.

I did read the books, 2033, 2034 AND fan-written The Light.
My "goal" I guess I'd call it is that Grig and Vasili are not experienced as the seasonal metro-dweller, and their view, if it doesn't look like a mutant, then it is probably not dangerous.
You would in a similar situation pick up a puppy, if someone had left it in a shoebox in some dumpster.
TL;DNR, Vasili has a soft spot for ponies.

There are a number of spelling and grammar mistakes but I don't mind them except for one. 'Alot' doesn't exist anywhere ever, it is 'a lot'. You could benefit from a proofreader or even an automated spell check. Keep going!

This is a good story so far. It's nice you used Luna, most writers use Twilight for this trope. One thing though, I understand that if she were as mighty as most fics portray her this story just wouldn't work, so I'm fine with her being kinda powerless, but I think Luna has more backbone than how she is shown so far. I mean, an ancient alicorn must have some experience with fighting and, maybe, killing. You know since she once was Nightmare Moon, and fought Discord and Sombra; and overal being inmortal helps.
Edit: OH First.
Holy crap dawg. I love this story already. I hope that next few chapters are filled with badass action and these "demons".

To me Miller seemed like a nice individual and very helpful towards others. I dunno, maybe he was more interested in finding the weapons of D6, but it's my view of him.
I had in mind at first portraying him more like his novel equivalent Melnik, making him a grumpy hardass, but the lieutenant got that personality instead.
I understand your opinion tho, and will keep it in mind.

Btw I had finished the first chapter of your story. I must say i kinda like it. But i feel it was kinda rushed. The action is happening to fast and there is no place for characters emotional state. But i must say that i liked your idea that ponies and the last remaining human is the Metro Mascow speaks the same language. Thought i still find it strange how they accepted Luna so fat. I know she is cute

I like it but just one flaw. The humans obviously speaks Russian and she speaks English which makes that the hole deal feels wrong. It would be nice for just one metro fanfic were they actually speaks Russian and the ponies could NOT understand them.
No offense but why can't anyone understand that. just because they speak English in the game doesn't it mean that they actually does it. the original game is on Russian.

It's mostly because I didn't think the setting would be suited for one-way communication. gestures and etc. If i could speak it, or have a friend that knows russian, I might have gone for that but alas, I have neither.
... and if Luna finally makes it back to Equestria she'll be a toughened up survivor, clad in strange armor and weapons. Celestia won't know what to make of her, and Luna won't be taking any guff from her big sis either; Celestia hasn't seen or experienced what she has... :)
