I mean, Celestia had no problems at keeping a portal stable so that she could observe the planet, she could even rescue TD from the crushing portal! And now she can't even send a scroll through it without oblirating it?
Another reason: If Celestia has observed our planet long enough and has seen our weapons (hydrogen bomb, etc.), she surely don't want to risk her whole country and the planet, just to send a single beeing back to its origin.

It's like the interlocking blades trap from Saw II, going through it is simple, but gong back is impossible without slicing up your whole arm. Call it convenient but it's mah portal and if it didn't work like that Not a Brony would be over in two chapters.

1954567 I was referring to the absolute plethora of unnecessary "universes" sprouting up from various fanfictions that people in this fandom give half a shit about. Not saying your fic is bad but it seems that every goddamn fic on this site is either overhyped as fuck my little dashie is a shining example part of some ridiculous universe, some kind of side fic, some shitty OC fic, some bullshit wish-fulfillment HiE fic, a badly done crossover, one of several hundred FO: sidefics, or pretty much just a rewrite of other fics but in a different light (eg. bathtime for ponies, bathtime for OC's and all that other shit).
It was not your story that ticked me off, just the fact that it's part of yet another universe. Again, to avoid buttmad, let me reiterate: I don't doubt that your story is good, but I just hate seeing the "part of x universe" anywhere around it.

You're annoyed by the concept of naming fic compilations from the same story vein 'verses' and you weren't attacking me doing it directly but that pic was blanket irritation against the whole idea. Okay, I'm still not sure why it's such a big issue at all (unless you think its born out of vanity as opposed to just giving something an official name in which case I could understand that) if none of it affects the story.
When i finished the 2nd page I hit refresh out of boredom and the next chapter appeared!

I kinda like this portrayal of Discord he is cruel but not overly violent in getting what he wants mind rape and body horror are a lot more effective at getting what you want without physically harming the one you want it from and since Discord has everything TD knows at his disposal, lets just say the ponies should pray TD hasn't read a lot of Lovecraftian horror stories.
1955664 yeah, I always saw the Discord of the show as subtextually dark and disturbing so I played that up a little bit here. I imagine that a Discord who was sick and tired of being trapped in stone would take the foal horseshoes off (so to speak) and be far more sadistic but not in a violent way. I imagine Discord as a character who would hate to kill because that's one less pony to be subjected to (or cause) chaos and he wouldn't cause physical pain because that's too easy and thus not as much fun. I see him as a guy who would relish in emotional and psychological pain a lot more because it's easier to get the maximum amount of chaos that way. So yes, relish in the fact that this fic is never going to get gory.
