prologue

It was Christmas vacation, finally, I got a whole week to myself. I loved it, the whole house quiet, no one there except for me, My computer, an Xbox 360, a fridge stocked with food, and one whole week to myself.
"hmmm, what should i choose? Minecraft? or halo 4?"
I say to myself. "HALO 4!!!". I walk over to my TV which was positioned in front of a window. I see outside that it was dark, cold and snowy. As the snow fell onto the branches of the old crab apple tree I saw small flashes of light outside. I think nothing of it and continue to hook up my Xbox to the TV. I finish and I look back outside. The lights that were previously blinking got stronger and stronger, I continue to look out side and then I see it. A huge explosion of bright colorful lights light up the night sky. I was frightened but curious to see what just happened. As i rush outside of my house I grab my winter coat and put on my snow boots. I dash outside onto the sidewalk and run as fast as I could to the direction of the bright and colorful lights.
