Maybe it's just cause I'm a bit of an emotional cripple, but SB's reaction didn't make much sense to me.
Confusion aside, the storie is quite nice.
1764934 I explained in the beginning, but maybe it came across unclear, as I am somewhat stunted in the world of romance as well (preferring, obviously, to spend my time writing stories about ponies instead, a very manly thing to do). Basically, Sweetie Belle had asked out a colt, Featherweight, who she harbored a long-time crush on, and he rejected her. Granny Smith, seeing this, told a story that might help her with her own problems.
This is behavior I plan to repeat in the coming chapters
