uh.......sad......but believable. (referencing the whole 'gilda abused dash' thing). To be honest, I think applejack should just go "take care of" gilda, and then come back and reassure rainbow dash that gilda could never harm her again. alluding to, but not outright saying that gilda has been murdered. I mean, lets not forget, the law of the city is iron-clad, but the law of the country tends to sway to whatever it thinks is right. *officer pulls up to applejack burying gilda* officer: "I've got a shovel in the back, I can help if ya like" You all know how it is.
*this is on the assumption that gilda isnt just a "rough lover" but is actually a "brutal bitch who delights in causing others pain" *

Well, since you said that, Lets take a look at Stargate SG-1, Atlantis, and Universe.
Stargate SG-1 started because people loved the original Stargate movie with Kurt Russel SOOOO much that they decided to expand the universe and story by doing a TV series. That show lasted TEN SEASONS and then they ended it. It spawned 2 Movie Tie-ins; Stargate: The Ark of Truth and Stargate Continuum and created 2 great spin-offs; Stargate Atlantis and Stargate Universe. Stargate Atlantis started during the beginning of Season 8 of SG-1 and ran for 5 seasons before being cancelled(which pissed A LOT of people, including me, OFF!) because of cost issues(Can't hardly make a great show without spending the money) and almost spawned its first movie, Stargate Extinction, before being "Shelved Indefinitely". There were rumors of the script being adapted and released into a book(that would be a great idea). Then there was Stargate Universe. Most fans of SG-1 and Atlantis hated this show in the beginning because they cancelled Atlantis only to replace it with this new show. Universe was actually pretty good(I'd compare it to Star Trek Enterprise) and lasted 2 seasons before being killed off like its older sibling. If the fanbase is out there and large enough, a show will survive anything. Like Joss Whedon's Firefly.
