Someday, I'll stop writing silly comedy stories. However, today isn't "someday".

While hanging out on Hearts and Hooves Day, Spike and Big Mac discussed how the Mane 6 had run off to parts unknown during the more recent Hearts and Hooves Days, including this one. Big Mac asked Granny Smith if she knew anything, but the elder pony claimed to be sworn to secrecy and told him to drop the matter.

Naturally, being denied just made Spike and Big Mac yearn to learn the Mane 6's secret more. Overcome by curiosity, the pony and dragon defied Granny Smith's order and set out to learn what their friends and sisters were up to.

Spoiler alert: you didn't really think a hint to the Mane 6's secret would be here, did you? Har har, har-ly har har!

Hmm... Well, that was certainly a thing that happened (However much Spike and 'Little' Mac wished it didn't :rainbowlaugh:)

I'd be interested in seeing the follow up awkwardness when the girls sober up and realize what happened.

Saying they wished it didn't happen would be an understatement:rainbowlaugh:

And following up on the fallout after (especially) Applejack and Twilight became sober is something I can keep in mind.

The idea of either some of, or all of the main 6 being secretly gay has got to be one of the most common topics for MLP fanfictions. While Rarity, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy (very subtly), and Twilight (in the Equestria Girl show) had shown interest in males, there is nothing in cannon stating that they could not all be bisexual. And Rainbow Dash and Applejack are canonically implied to be a married lesbian couple in the final episode.

Despite this being an extremely common topic, you did a very good job establishing a short mystery that Big Mac and Spike slowly uncovered. You even included some details such as implying Pinkie Pie mentioned the character "Cheese Sandwich", and that Sweetie Belle mentioning stallions, to trick the audience. The reveal was very funny.

While I can understand Applejack hitting on Big Mac would be something you would not want to write about further, I feel like there was more potential to be had with Spike. Perhaps instead of Rarity passing out, Rarity and Twilight both could have walked up to Spike and shared some of their deviant ideas with him. Or maybe once Spike was in his room, Starlight could have decided to have some fun and flirt with Spike as a joke.

And while it was already stated, I definitely would have liked to see the aftermath of this situation (so long as it is not M rated).

Glad you liked it! Yep the little misdirections, such as with Cheese Sandwich being mentioned, was to help hide the real reason And also show that those telling Spike and Big Mac what they heard are only part of whatever the Mane 6 were talking about and this ripe for misunderstandings.

In this story at least, the Mane 6 are a type of bisexuals who prefer one gender over another (jn their case, males) but if their "perfered" gender isn't available, then they'd take a willing mare. In fact, my little headcanon is that most mares in canon are this type of bisexuals, which is why Equestrian ponies don't form herds despite mares (seemingly) outnumbering stallions,

And while it was already stated, I definitely would have liked to see the aftermath of this situation (so long as it is not M rated).

If I decide to write a sequel, it definitely wouldn't need a "M" ratings. At ther very worst it would call for the "T" rating + "Sex" tags, and even that would be the worst-case scenario as far as what tags would be needed.
