Definitely gonna write the thing... tomorrow.

E

Scootaloo and her friends used to hang out near an impossibly tall tree, one that maybe stretched out forever.

Scootaloo had never seen the top.

Until now.

:moustache: ??? Oh a claw...

Wow, this was good! I hate to sound like a basic English teacher, but I can really appreciate the hidden themes in the story, even if it was unintentional. Of being a child, full of wonder and stories and imagination. Growing up, seeing the world as it is and remembering a simpler, more ignorant time in our lives. Or maybe, it was just a tall fucking tree!:ajsmug:

Regardless, this was nice! Very simple, nothing too deep, but an overall good read with a story you can’t help but visualize! 10/10:twilightsmile:

No, you're right on the money. It was kind of a reflection of how we lose that wonder and that sort of exaggerated way of looking at the world. I read a comment somewhere about how when you're a kid, the world literally seems bigger, and that just sparked something in me.

It can also just be a story of the view from a big friggin' tree not being as impressive as imagined to people who think that's too pretentious.
