I thought it was quite nice. Very good indeed. You, certainly do not forget to be awesome. But, just for future reference, when using quotation marks you're supposed to use commas, and not periods. For example: "I really like her mane," Sweetie Belle said, or conversely, Sweetie Bell said, "I really like her mane." And the period on the inside of the quotation, signifies that a new sentence begins directly after the quotation mark.

Octavia is honestly sort of a free-build character, in that she doesn't have a lot of screen time. I like the way you went with her; the quiet, lonely type does seem to fit her really well. And I lol'd at Vinyl's first appearance; seems like something she'd do on a regular basis.
Only issue is with some grammar and punctuation glitches.
The same phrase twice in a row feels pretty redundant. If it were me, I'd reword one of them or, even better, remove one completely.
I combined a couple sentences there, but you get the idea. Hunt around for a good proofreader if you don't have one already; there's lots of people that would be happy to help you out. (Or ask me, but be warned; once I get going, I'll reword an entire chapter if you don't stop me.
)
