I remember watching TV and movie westerns as a kid in the 1990's such as Doctor Quinn: Medicine Woman, Back to the Future Part 3, Calamity Jane (1953), Support Your Local Sheriff etc. I'm looking forward to more of this awesome Western story.

On the other hand, Isaac Asimov wrote a TON of books Sci-fi, mysteries, poetry, science popularization, (the only auther to have at least 1 book in every major categoryof the Dewey Decimal System), a biochemistry text book, an autobiography. Just about the only things he never wrote were Westerns & hard core porn. Neither did Arthur C. Clarke nor Robert Heinlein.

No, this isn't going to become a whole series, it was a spur(little cowboy pun for you there) of the moment idea that I capitalized on.
I'd also like to leave gun firing up to reader interpretation, obviously I am giving some basis, as pegasi use their wings, and unicorns typically use magic. I've yet to have an earth pony use a gun, and it's not because I can't explain it, it simply doesn't fit with the characters I've come up with.

Sure, why not? I briefly thought on how the rest of the story might play out, but I'm not going to spend a lot of my time finishing it. I guess you can call this a proof of concept, and it can grow from there.
