I can see what you were going for with this story, but the premise feels like too much of a stretch for me. I thought it was contrived when the show tried to paint Ahuizotl as a misunderstood villain, and it feels the same way with this. I get that this is an AU, but without any kind of significant justification, Sombra feeling this way just feels forced and nonsensical.
