This story is a sequel to The Pony Guard: Equestrian Girls
Scar is defeated and the Pride Lands and Equestria is at peace once more but nothing is the same anymore as far as Kion and Twilight are concerned.
After seeing his friend struggle with being accepted back into her leadership role of the Pony Guard, Kion decides that a vacation is in order for Twilight for her to recuperate. Although said vacation turns into an world-stake mission when they receive a message from an equally struggling Sunset Shimmer in Canterlot High, informing them that three new students have suddenly arrived with a thirst and hunger for power at the school along with the world with new friends from the Pride Lands past helping them out.
The Prince and Princess along with both Spike and Bunga all travel through the magic mirror where they once again meets their bonded friends human counterparts of her bonded ponies along with a reformed but mentally scarred Sunset Shimmer, who is still struggling with letting go of her past. The Lion and Pony Guard band together to form, The Rainbooms in order to compete in the school's Battle of the Bands in order to defeat The Dazzlings and their Pride Lander allies, before they turn the whole school against each other.
Can Twilight regain her confidence in order to make the counter spell they will need to defeat their foes? Will Sunset Shimmer let go of her past in order to move on and help her friends?

Anyway, so these Wild Ones seem to be basically an Anti-Lion Guard. Possibly an alternate version of Scar’s old team.

So apparently I was completely wrong. The Wild Ones are an anti-Lion Guard, but they were those original evil lions that were the reason Askari made the guard in the first place.
Well, looks like my original theory might actually still be a thing if that trio is who I think they are.
And geez, things are not going well for Kion. Hopefully he doesn’t lose control again, because that would not be pretty.
I’m guessing that the mystery man and those three are the human versions of daddy and his original minions

...Well...Yeah, essentially a jab at the canon story.
I mean don't get me wrong it was interesting, though I personally felt like they could have done his backstory a bit better to least make him sympathetic enough to understand why he did what he did through the film and the show.
It just could have had more potential if they went along that route. You know what I mean?

I knew that those four were the human version of daddy and his former minions. But why doesn’t he have his scar and why are they agents. I thought that the human version of daddy would be evil, have his scar and his name be Scar. WHAT IS GOING ON?!
Yeah, but I wonder if Askari's intentions are really pure. I mean, I know the first Askari (from ages ago) was good, but then his namesake turned evil. And given that this Askari's agents are named the same after his counterpart's hyena minions... I wonder if this guy is really trying to bring down the Wild Ones for nobler purposes, if this guy has a hidden agenda for it.
So Kion just tried to kill someone.

Considering that the Wild Ones leader publicly humiliated him, set both Twilight and Sunset up to be arrested, with his speedy lieutenant nearly killing human Fuli, shot his arm, dealt him a huge defeat, all within 48 hours, so it's not hard to see that Kion very much snapped in this part, only for his and his partner's foresight in regards with the gun sparing any lives in the heat of the moment. If anyone was put into that position and put through something similar, it's all gloves off in that regard.
Oh, and for the record, he didn't use the Roar during the fight, and nor for evil.

As for Kion's dark side, it'll definitely be a big plot point for him going forward though when it'll kick into play is still to be decided.

Did daddy see what happened in the human world with his human counterpart as an agent? I hope he has plans if he were to go to the human world. Sorry, I still have so many questions and I need answers
