Wow! The characterizations of both Celestia and Luna this chapter really makes me believe that they are old immortal beings who are both skilled practitioners of magic and wisdom! It's awesome to see them so... competent, in a sense. This honestly just reminds me how underutilized they are in the show. I honestly can't wait to see more!
Still looking interesting. Also, it recently inspired another idea for a Jumpchain fic - actually writing out the chain, and having the jumper ALSO be empowered by the Forge. So on top of their normal purchases/builds, they'd randomly get completely unrelated perks from all over the place.

This... this is great! When I clicked on story I was if-y, but now I'd gladly read 60 more chapters.
But really though, the description doesn't do this story justice. When I saw it in featured my thought was that it was just some 'over 9000' reference, and not something that has talent in it.
Like, this what you'd expect from the description:
If you overhaul the description, with a little more depth and a little more clickbait, then this could take off!
Also I want to read more (and I'm tired of watching great stories die) and typically [more comments] = [more story].

Well, I have to say that this is looking pretty good so far. Certainly liked the Mane Six figuring out their new abilities. Also liked the dialogue concerning the "short cuts" to each of their homes.
I'm guessing the "bold black" on the new perks represents stuff that's shared by all six of them.
Really appreciated Twilight's notes on the changes to herself and her friends as well as Celestia's observations upon reading the notes.

Well, to be fair, Pinkie can ALREADY do almost anything as long as it's meant to be funny at the time she does it. She probably doesn't NEED much.
Another excellent job on this chapter. Definitely liked the gang's dialogue as they discussed their new abilities as well as Applejack making such quick work of Rainbow.
And, it could be worse. Imagine one of them gaining the proportionate strength, speed and agility of a spider plus wall/ceiling adhesion/walking and a precognitive danger sense (Marvel Comics). Or the Wisdom of Solomon, Strength of Hercules, Courage/Invulnerability of Achilles, Power of Zeus, Stamina of Atlas and Speed/Flight of Mercury (DC Comics). Or a White Lantern Power Ring (also DC Comics). Or the power of the Twelve Talismans (the last one is a Jackie Chan Adventures reference).
But, anyway, the exchanges, characterizations and future chapter set-up are all wonderfully done and I'll definitely be looking forward to more of this.

Shazam pony would be interesting, because without the age transformation, it's just a spell to make the pony buff.
Highly magical compost, huh? I want to say it sounds like Fluttershy's starting her mushroom garden, but mushrooms aren't plants so I don't want to commit to that in case she isn't just generalizing. That said, I will say I expect some Fire Flowers to come from this. Maybe Ice Flowers too, though honestly I forget if those ever made it into Paper Mario, plus that might be something that requires a colder climate. I can't remember what all there are for Paper Mario items that count as plants, and that would be considered exotic outside of the Mario-verse.
Now that is a strong synergy, infinite tool box and MacGyvering skills. Nice!

Another great chapter. Definitely liked the work that went into the exchanges, characterizations, action and future chapter set-up in all the right places. Definitely appreciated Twilight's reflections on the way to Canterlot as well as Bon Bon's reaction to Applejack setting up a combat demonstration with a jackpot (probably with at least some of the money going toward helping out the farm) AND Bon Bon's reactions to the fighting skills demonstrated. And, yeah, Pinkie's new additional skills were great to see.

For the Honor of Greyskull (She-Ra Princess of Power): In addition to a rather respectable increase in strength, speed and durability, you also have animal telepathy and a healing touch.
(Admittedly, I considered He-man for one of the Mane Six, but figured She-Ra would be a better fit for Fluttershy given the aforementioned animal telepathy [which would be a VERY logical expansion of her pre-existing talent] and the healing touch [a very logical fit for Fluttershy's personality] and, well, you have to admit that She-Ra DOES have every power He-Man does plus the aforementioned extras). There would definitely be several threats where that kind of power would be quite useful.
Rainbow Dash:
Gotta Go Faster (Sonic the Hedgehog): Well, in addition to making you as fast on land as you are in the sky (AND giving you the sped-up reflexes and thought processes to move that fast without hitting anything), you also have the ability to activate a "Super Mode" that makes you temporarily invulnerable and at least doubles your strength and already considerable speed. Of course, the one downside is that you can't swim.
Pinkie Pie:
Does Whatever A Spider Can (Marvel Comics): In addition to an amplification of your pre-existing Pinkie Sense, this also gives you the strength, speed, agility, durability and stamina of forty normal Earth ponies (even on the rare occasions when you AREN'T trying to be funny) plus sticking to and walking on walls and ceilings and an increase to your already considerable mechanical skills (even to build web shooters and tracers connected to your upgraded Pinkie Sense).
Of course, I can completely understand if you don't like the ideas and profusely apologize for wasting your time.

While they are fine ideas (most of which would make for an interesting story on their own) and I love your effort, for this particular story I have no control over what perks they get. When I hit the target wordcount, a random number generator picks a perk from nearly 2000 possible options, as well as randomly selecting which pony receives it. I can only write one chapter at a time because not even I know what's coming next. But that's all part of the fun!
This notion sounds very ominous for the whole wide world.
So let me see if I got this right.
Because of Sunset stealing the crown, I'm assuming most of the scan came from her. And because Cadence THOUGHT it was just a test (her reasoning was fairly good), she never mentioned it to Celestia - which prevented Celestia from realizing the mistake.
Hey there. Pretty good job on the exchanges, characterizations and future chapter set-up once again. Definitely liked the dialogues between Celestia and Luna as well as Shining Armor and Cadance. Definitely understood why Cadance would think the bit with Sunset Shimmer was just one of Celestia's tests as well as liked Luna's ribbing Celestia about how much weight the cakes are putting on her.
I'm guessing the next upgrades to the group are probably going to be coming in time for the mess with the Plunder Vines (whatever those new perks are going to be) and each of them is going to get at least one new perk in the "key stories" throughout Season Four. Of course, I admit that I could be wrong, but it DOES seem like a pretty logical guess.
Anyway definitely looking forward to more of this story.
