Overall quite good, definetly funny. Just one suggestion. Could you go into a bit more detail when it comes to the library? The chapter was great, but imagery is always good. No one knows what that part of the library looks like. Now, suggestions aside, I must give you a Mustache Spike for all of your amazing writing!

And for not following the Evil Overlord list, Princess Celestia was hit with the idea to cast the Want it Need It spell on one of the random books in the room, close her eyes, and let the CMC:BOTA fight amongst themselves until Twilight and the gang got the EoH.

This needs more chapters, that's the only thing really wrong with it. The juxtaposition of the comedy (librarian and such) with the CMC taking over Equestria is awesome.
