The Battle City Tournament has begun. Spike Drake is a contestant who is in it to win. While he duels, he will gain more cards. However, there's trouble in town. With his Millennium Collar, he keeps in contact with his friends to make sure they're safe, and keeps tabs on rivals, and a villainous group known as the Thestrals. The Thestrals are looking for something in Canterlot, but what exactly are they looking for? Nobody knows, but they are ruthless towards people who stand in their way. Will Spike be able to stop them, or will he fall victim to their evil ways?
To Mods: This is a reboot of a cancelled story that became difficult to keep track of because of inconsistencies with Spike's deck

I assume the reason there's more dislikes is because of the way I tagged the story. I did this once before, and yeah, Dark and Slice of Life aren't tags that go well together. I've changed the tags to more appropriate tags. The reason it's tagged Dark is because, and this is in spoilers just for people who want to be surprised, Spike will host Shadow Games and Penalty Games, Season 0 style

Yugioh is a dark slice of life fantasy... Due to the game and then dark stuff was more of the shadow realms.

... That was it? That was a fast game, and its boring(not trying to discourage the story.), you made Blueblood look like a bad guy but that fell short with this duel. This duel is tampered by plot to favor Spike as Blueblood must have had at least 5 other cards(not including Volcanic Rocket and Blaze Accelerator which was added to hand by Volcanic Rockets effect from the Deck) in his hand to at least prepare for a counter measure to give some challenge. Without seeing what cards they have in their hand and didn't know what starting Life Points they have cause I don't feel like a person watching the duel.
Maybe next duel will change my mind on this duel. Hope to see...

He's going to use a HERO deck for the most part, but not restricted to one HERO type. Elemental HERO monsters were my favorite as a kid, and then Evil HEROes came out, and I liked them more, but they didn't have a lot of support. There is a structure deck I found on Etsy that could work as a permanent deck
