Author gets writer's block and never continues. 2. loses interest and makes another. 3. makes character op/mary-sue/forms a harem and everyone hates them for it. 3. Actually, in this story, the fruits can only be damaged by someone eating them, otherwise, they're invincible. And why kill when you can 'chop' someone into parts and stick them back together like a poorly done art project, you know what happened to those Marines in when Law was first shown?

Jake knows about the cycle of circulation in the anime, the thing is though, there are some key differences that The Devil-Devil Club found out about, like how in One Piece, one of the CP9 agents cut her devil fruit up before eating it, but for this world, the Devil Fruits can't be harmed by anything without the intention of eating it.
An example would be like two guys with swords about to attack the devil, one wanted to destroy the DF and the other guy wanted to eat it. The 'destroy the fruit' guy's sword would shatter while the 'eat the fruit' guy's sword would cut it like butter.
The cycle of circulation is in a similar boat, instead of transplanting to a 'nearby' fruit, it will transplant itself into a Random fruit, this wasn't brought up because I haven't gotten that far yet.
Also, I bring up Blackbeard cuz he killed other Devil Fruit users for their DFs.
Also Also, Chrysalis and Spinner are no threat, all Jake has to do is remove their hands and they're powerless since their powers are focused in their hands.

That wouldn't work because the fruits can sense false intention, also since Jake has eaten a DF it would be more than obvious that the intention. And in One Piece all it takes for the powers to be gained is for a small bite to be taken, you don't need to eat the entire fruit, the CP9 just took a single bite because the signal for a power being gained is a rotten taste in the mouth.
