I like the surgically controlled tone of this fic. It could easily slide into horror territory what with the Trio being reduced to helpless self-aware playthings, but Cozy stays determined and flippant the whole time while Celestia and Luna’s conversation confirms the games aren’t necessarily going to keep going forever.
Those two aspects are really important to keep the story feeling fun, and they’re both nailed beautifully.
Not gonna lie.... I thought the title read: Cozy Glow Is Turned Into A Changeling Queen. ^^'

I have to admit the story potential for that is interesting. It would be hilarious trying to see Chrysalis trying to act like "a big bad villain" while she's just a little filly.
I can’t imagine anyone but discord being able to last with being a statue and still being self-aware without going nuts.
