Definitely gonna be checking this one out. The premise already has my attention. ^_^
Holey Moley. That is one doozy of a thought experiment. LOVED the work that went into the exchanges, characterizations, action and future adventure set-up. Yeah, I can see where Twi would be frustrated by the attack of the Plunder Vines and being unable to help her parents (in this universe). But, yeah, I can see where Luna would tell Twilight that story to reassure her that, no matter how bad any situation gets, it will always get better eventually (especially with the point out that time goes very differently in the dream scape than in the real world. Twilight reflecting on her big sister (in this AU) was another beautiful detail.
VERY certainly looking forward to more stories in this universe.
