If he knows how something works then he shouldn't explain how but simplify it as much as he can so they won't get anything important form it
For example:
Like plains , he can tell that they are machines that fly but he shouldn't tell them how.
Cars are machines that move on the ground but he won't tell them that they have an engine or how it works, or what is a combustion engine, etc.
They cant invent it themselves?
Too bad for them if they are a race that relies too much on magic
They have chosen magic so they should be stuck with their own choices and not get technology for free

Not to interrupt the showdown, but how can we certain the space ship arrived with hostile intention? Because from the outside perspective, it felt the ship just defended itself, not doing an invasion.
Im impressed, originally I thought that Diego would become a lion when the bayard port was used, but instead he became something akin to Voltron, just less segmented.
