It's funny what you remember from your foalhood. What I remember is moving a lot. What I also remember is Derpy.

This is (loosely) based on something I saw in real life, or at least the characters are. Just a short, simple story.

Still amazing. :derpytongue2:

W...wut... I am...there is a strange, clear liquid...seeping out of my eyes. What is this? No...no, really, what is this? :raritydespair:

"Still on vacation after the death of my mom, I had time to kill," really, really, really...strange choice of words :facehoof:

Overall, I didn't like the narrator. Maybe because I was the Derpy of my class pretty much. And maybe because the narrator chose to be lonely instead of understanding someone who was more like him/her than anyone else -- alone, misunderstood, not liked at all.

Also, Princess Celestia must be getting a lot of spam mail from her subjects since everypony gets to write to her :rainbowlaugh:

I'm inclined to agree with this.

1134626 Maybe that was part of the point. The narrator wasn't heroic, or kind, or awesome, or even all that likable. He wasn't even the main character. He was just a guy with a message. Just a guy who made a mistake.

I don't think we're supposed to like him, he;s supposed to be that slight jerk. Why? Because are all jerks at some point in time. This is just something he observed, and wanted to pass on, so perhaps that jerkyness in someone, won't happen.
Nicely done, I enjoyed it.

Very touching. A lot more touching than the TF2 Sniper's touching story. :fluttercry:
