At this year's Ponyville Fun and Frolic Festival, Flim and Flam have a booth on the midway offering "a unique competetive opportunity." Applejack wants nothing to do with it. Rainbow wants everything to do with it.
The original minific version of this story, "From the Top," came in 8th in the 137th Writeoff Contest, On Thin Ice. That then largely became chapter three in this longer version, my entry in the 6th Appledash contest, "Go Big or Go Home," where it did not place in the Top 6.
