Baal Bunny

Part of the AugieDog family of companies

Spike and Dr. Cabelleron head into the Badlands searching for a legend.

The original version of this story placed sixth in the March 2020 WriteOff contest with the nonsense syllable "Ot" as the prompt, and this rewritten version was my entry in the Original Pairings group's 2020 May Pairing Contest.

I can’t believe “Ot” finally won and I missed it :(

I think it took everyone by surprise. :twilightblush:

[quote"Twi?" Spike gestured to the blue and beige tiles. "This is the stallion's restroom."

Twilight blinked down at him. "So? You're a dragon, not a stallion. "]That line alone was worth the whole story, and an upvote!

I stomped in all lit up, and when the arimaspi and the griffon couldn't produce any Owlbear, well, things went badly for them..."

I'm curious what kind of whooping the Lizard can dish out to take on a King Kong satyr.

Skink's have always been:

One of my favorite reptilian types. And I'm sure the Lizard just gave them a very stern talking to... :scootangel:

I was wondering why this style seemed so familiar and then you commented with a familiar weird quirk and I read your description, and I just have to ask: What exactly is the benefit to having an alt account on a fanfic website? Especially when you link your main in the description?

Neat little fic, I quite enjoyed it.

For reasons:

I'm no longer all that clear about, I decided that I wanted to keep the stories I was writing for the Writeoff contests separate from the stories I was just writing on my own. So I made this Baal Bunny account for the Writeoff stories and use my AugieDog account for my regular stories. Not terribly efficient, but there it is... :twilightsheepish:

Glad you liked the story, too!

Mike

Huh, I was honestly expecting a "Wizard of Oz" parody since it's literally only two letters different, but this story had some legs & took me somewhere unexpected. Thanks for that!

Okay, this was really good!
