Another entry to I know You Got Soul. :pinkiesad2:

Purely by accident, I saw a photo the other day that York Musem has got the gutted mounted remains of Rocket.

Looks like I only just caught it at Manchester last year.

Weird how they went out of their way to spend all that money moving the train back when theyre complaining about not having the money for anything?

This was nicely written.

We will miss 41001. But we must be happy that she ran at all.

au revoir 41001. We shall miss you!

We shall remember 41001 forever.

Incidentally, I was at the NRM back in July. (York, not Shildon). The Flying Scotsman/Moneypit (or, as a brony I know calls it, The Flying Trespass) was stuck behind a door being readied for a railtour.

I like the engine, but it shows how two-faced the NRM really is.

We can't restore that engine! It would cease to be original!

*spends a decade and £4.2 million of public money replacing practically every part of 4472*

came here for the prototype HST, stayed for the story

Glad you enjoyed it. Watch out on my dA page, as 41001 seeks revenge.
