This story is a sequel to Singularity
Mavis, the quarry diesel, has been locked up in the shed for causing a serious accident with some trucks. She wants a chance to prove herself useful again.
When the Fat Controller visits her with important news, it looks like her chance has come, but not quite like she expected. He's having her turned into a pony and sending her to Equestria to work on Sweet Apple Acres for a week. If all goes well, he'll put her to work in the quarry again when she returns.
Can the headstrong diesel engine prove her worth as a pony? Of course she can! Just as soon as she gets used to moving on her own. And eating and drinking. And makes sense of the funny feeling she gets in her chest whenever she meets that big, red stallion...

A Singularverse story
Note: Reading Singularity isn't required to understand/enjoy this story.
I can tell I am going to enjoy this based solely on the description.
Urm. Wut. o_O
I'll give it a read!
Mavis x Big Mac, eh? I've seen wierder.
It’s interesting to say the least. It requires further reading
This is quite a cute little story, with a tone of voice I feel like I don't recognize because it's from a different setting.
Ohh tracked and upvoted. Very interesting story.
Should be "Newly laid eggs", hatched implies that the chicks have hatched out of them, and there's nothing left.

Poor Mavis. She's got all these glands and hormones she never had before.
Interesting. J think this will lead to Mavis having to fight Everfree monsters.
What happened in the accident? TTTE crossovers are rare enough on this site, so I'm tracking this one.
This chapter is so sweet.
Well that escalated quickly.
Oh dear. I'm curious why a chicken would want to run off into the Everfree Forest in the first place, unless one of them was having a secret affair with the cockatrice.

Because that's where the really juicy worms are, and chickens are dumb...
This was a great story! You totally need to make a sequel to it! Maybe do it with James or Gordon next!
You did a great job blending two distinct narrative voices.
As someone who writes both My Little Pony FanFiction, and Thomas and Friends FanFiction, I was curious about this story. And now that I've completed it, I can say I thoroughly enjoyed it! It's a really cool idea, and was well executed. Well done!
