A long forgotten love potion ... barrels of freshly prepared apple cider ready to be served to the entire town ... one slightly clumsy dragon. Love is in the air! On the ground! Tearing through homes and sending everypony running for their lives. As a horde of love-drunk ponies threatens to flatten the town in a battle royal of infatuation, only Rainbow Dash, Spike and the Moon Princess Luna can hope to save the day, even if it means breaking a few dozen hearts.
If love really does conquer all, they're all doomed.

Actually you know, I could imagine that the ditzy, goofy version of Derpy might be quite relaxing for someone like Celestia to be around. No weighty court matters, no politics or deference. Just a happy go lucky mailpony with a love of baked goods. I could see them staying in Celestia's room all day and having cake and muffins delivered between bouts of snuggling.
I really, realllly need to get out more.

Honestly, I was afraid it would come off at too violent or seeming like I was being unkind to the M/M pair. But really, I thought they matched up pretty well, all things considered. I could totally see them being gym buddies
Spike's jokes are gold. Pure gold
It was well-written, but even though the overall situation wasn't anything unique, there were so many smaller encounters and funny moments that made it a pleasure to read. So yeah, I found the pretty darn hilarious, especially Celestia's Pepe Le Pew impersonation, Pinkie Pie's usual antics (some people don't write her as well as others, like they just expect Pinkie to be funny on her own), and of course Scratch and Octavia being awesome. Rarity was unusually shallow and unladylike in the beginning, though.

I really didn't mean to make her seem shallow
In fact, Rarity is one of my favourite ponies because she reminds to so, so strongly of one of my best friends ('Dog and Pony Show' was the episode that really made me fall in love with MLP). I would trust this friend with my life in any emergency or difficult situation without a second thought. On the other hand, I'd also not be surprised if she trampled me half to death because I was standing between her and the last 50% off Gucci cable knit sweater. 
That's how I see Rarity. She'd do anything in her power to help someone who needed it ... but the rest of the time she can be a tad self centred. I still love her though
