I like to write short comedy things in my spare time. One day I'll write a proper story, I swear.

Flurry Heart is trapped in that awkward stage between filly and mare. She wants to be herself, but with her parents and her princesshood to consider, she's finding that very difficult. She just wants to meet somepony who understands her.

Poor flurry, she should know drinking is fro grown up ponies( right? )

OH MY GOD DONT FOLLOW TIREK OUR GONNA GET HURT!!!

Story was decent. I would remove the romance tag though. There is no romance here. This is a naive young adult being taken advantage of.

Yeah, you're absolutely right. There's not so much romance, but the illusion of romance. I think I sort of liked the idea that the reader, like Flurry, expects romance before realising the truth, but I definitely don't want to mislead readers looking for a geniune love story.

Thanks

This can only end horrifically well. You go, Flurry!

Edit: I can't even say this is really her fault: that would imply that she knew better, which she doesn't, alcohol or no. I'm scared for her. It's a good thing the show is rated Y, otherwise this could be bad.

oh snapples shit's about to go down :C

No, she really doesn't:ajsleepy:. Plus, if we say its her fault that would be saying that Flurry knows better, and...she really doesn't:fluttershysad:. Still, I really hope that she doesn't get hurt too bad:applecry:!

In all of Flurry Heart’s long life, there was nothing she had found that was more aggravating than being dismissed. She knew it well. The roll of the eyes, the flippant, ‘It’s just a phase, honey’, followed by the turning away so the bigger, more important ponies could talk.

Oh boy, the 'It's just a phase', line...how many times have I heard that:ajbemused:.

All her outlooks became ‘phases’, her righteous anger became ‘angst’. If she ever voiced an opinion she was being ‘rude’, but if she chose not to voice anything at all she was being ‘moody’. Her parents decided the fates of princesses and nations, but they would much rather she simply concerned herself with schoolwork.

I can't even begin to imagine how many teens like Flurry wished they'd take the time listen to Flurry instead of passing off her behavior as typical teenage rebellion:facehoof:.

Adulthood, here I come. Gulp, gulp.

Sorry Flurry, but drinking yourself drunk isn't going to make you an adult:applejackunsure:. Just sayin'...:ajsleepy:.

Well this story is off to an interesting start:ajsmug:. I'm eager to see what happens next:twilightsmile:.

I wasn't coming into this expecting a happy story but I've come out of it feeling not so good about Flurry's future.

Never trust magic-eating demons you meet in bars.

9224183 In her defense, she was drunk and didn't know he was a magic eating demon lol
