9140615 That's a good question, especially considering how many OCs there are and besides Zinnia I'm not entirely sure who's gonna be featured more yet. And I'm not good at describing voices. But I imagine Zinnia having somewhat of a valley girl accent but it's not like stereotypically high-pitched or anything, it's just a normal tone.
I can't imagine Eagle Eye sounding like anyone OTHER than my main MTI in basic training, who I really wish I had video of that I could show you because her voice is honestly perfect for Eagle. Confident, loud when she needed to be, but able to get calm and gentle when genuinely trying to help or complimenting someone. And then once she got more relaxed with us she would laugh a lot and tease, like she was tough with us outside but in private she was pretty fun, and told great stories and man I loved her
As for the others I'll honestly just have to figure it out more as I write them but I will definitely get back to you on that. :'D
In the beginning they speak a bit as if she could have a hard time in the military, i would be more concerned about the different uhhhmm leading styles.
I actually kind of hope that you show the difference between her and the others a bit, with her having experience, maybe she has to show her leading style as some sort of guest thing.
She could have one meeker guard trainee helping her with the "Equestrian way"
It would be so nice if she has different personalitys in her uhhhm how do you call it again?, group. One that admires her and maybe one that hates her or is at least not happy with being there.
Once she spit it out, she dried herself off and held out a hoof to Tempest. āIām Zinnia. You can just call me Zin if you want.ā
I think I want her in Tempest's flight or how they called it.
I'm curious will she get someone looking her over the shoulder or just getting instructions to follow and she is judged by her groups efforts.
I love this chapter and the story so far, I think I'M close to another favourite. I forgot a detail, was this already about her being an officer or just training? I really hope she can show that she is different then the others like it looked so far, while I still image Eagle Eye trying to make her look bad or something, I think I want Tempest to be the best here right now.
Yout know since this seems to be only the first step she needed to take, but a slip up or two wouldn't be wrong if it makes sense, you know like her changing her style or whatever else is different.
Sooo....either her chef is going to hate her because of her being a former enemy, or she is going to respect her in the end.
9141440 Her friends know she can do it, they're probably just trying to be encouraging anyway. "Oh yeah it might be hard but hey you got this!"
And oh yeah there'll be a lot of different personalities in her flight, I've got them all named and a few have personalities associated with them already so I'm looking forward to writing with them.
This is just initial training but it is officer specific, everyone there will be officers upon graduation. After that they go to further schooling based on their specific duty assignment and then they'll be given a position in the active duty guard (probably in Canterlot but there's always a chance you get to work in another city or even tasked out to the Crystal Empire) and they can get to work.
I'll definitely explain how I see it working more as time goes on. :')
9141667 Alright, I admit I wouldn't deny a showchase of her skills and how she rescues her teammates and all that stuff in the future, but you know that already. I can definitly appreciate drama and stuff, but I love my happy ends and awesome main chars.
9140615 (Kicks door down) OH I thought of a good voice for Eagle Eye. You know Sgt Calhoun (Jane Lynch) from Wreck-It Ralph? Basically that except more hoarse while yelling.
If the main OCs in this story were voiced, what would they sound like?
