and personally it's not wallflower that i hate its the movie in general its like a remake of anon-a-miss and have the memory scenes would literally be impossible without sunset i don't like wallflower for a simple reason she hurt my favourite character emotionally and physically at the end and almost did the same to the other girls. i may say i can't forgive her but i may just need her to grow on me same with sci-twi i don't like her because sunset went through hell and back trying to get people to forgive her after turning into the demon and sci-twi came in and turns into the demon while stealing everyone's magic through the movie and she is pretty much forgiven right away. and yeah she had sunset to help the other girls forgive her and i know sunset was a bully for 3 years before but all through rainbow rocks the girls are mean to her then the whole anon-a-miss fiasco comes up and turns the school upside down. then the whole sci-twi thing and stuff and i personally don't like sci-twi for that reason. and these are just my opinions.

Dude, you completely missed the fact that Sci-Twi was actually pressured into stealing everyone's magic by her fellow students and Principal at Crystal Prep (Who was pretty much blackmailing her anyways), and ended up regretting it instantly.

Maybe so but she was the one who made the device and saw the magic for herself she chould have destroyed it and leave it at that. But she continued to steal it. AND she was only PRESSED to unleash the magic after the cinch saw the magic so yeah the whole demon wasn't completely her fault but she chould have destroyed the device after she saw the magic. So she still played a big role in it.

Actually Sunset and the bike race should have made it clear to Twilight how dangerous the magic was. She could have destroyed it after she ran off but didn't. Because she didn't destroy the locket when she had the opportunity she turned into a demon.

Could you tell this was my first "first person" story on this site? I'm not used to written in that style, trying to get better at it.
Good to see a well-written story about Wallflower. For being one of, if not the best of the EQG movies so far, especially plot-wise and concerning the motives of the antagonist, Wallflower hasn't gotten very much attention on the site. It's a shame because her personality seems to be one of the most relatable of all the characters and one of the most in-depth. But then again, maybe that's why it hasn't gotten much attention; something so relatable to many may not be as interesting to alot of people.
But your story is good overall and I liked how you dived into Wallflower's insecurities even after making amends with Sunset and how you portrayed their interactions. Hopefully you'll consider doing more stories in the future, maybe?

This is a beautiful little story! I felt SOOOOO bad 4 Wallflower when we saw her backstory. The poor girl was ignored since freshman year. U really did her justice. Amazing work!

Okay, got some thoughts on this.
First off, the Forgotten Friendship special was a serious gut-punch for me. Sunset was put through the emotional wringer while she, her friends and the students and staff at CHS were subjected to mind rape simply because of another girl's insecurities and petty jealousies. As sympathetic as Wallflower Blush was - and trust me, I sympathized with her - she still faced next to no repercussions for the damage she did. And while what she did regarding the special was reversed, there's no guarantee that all of the damage was undone.
That being said, I liked this story. Wallflower feeling guilt for her actions, and feeling as though she deserves to be forgotten after what she did? That's realistic. Sunset trying her best to pull her out of that hole and reassure her that no one deserves to be forgotten? Totally consistent with Sunset's character. You were clearly going for a sweet story here, and that's what this was, a sweet story. Well done.

You can make similar arguments for Sunset and Starlight post-Fall Formal and post-Season 5 finale, respectively. But as it turns out, they both got a lot of character development as they journeyed towards becoming better people. So while Wallflower is a minor character who is likely to never show up again, if she were a main character, she'd likely receive similar treatment. It's important to remember that redemption wasn't in the crater nor was it in the wasteland timeline. It was in the journey afterwards.

Starlight, perhaps, but Sunset? She faced scorn, fear and distrust from the rest of the student body at CHS leading up to the Battle of the Bands, and even those closest to her (the Rainbooms) were awkward with her at times. The fact that she weathered that storm as well as she did speaks volumes. Plus, she did have do at least some of the work rebuilding that front entrance.
Neither Starlight nor Wallflower saw any clear punishment for their actions. Starlight's damage to the time stream might've been undone, but she saw no repercussions for everything surrounding her anti-cutie mark cult. Similarly, Wallflower's immediate crime - erasing memories of Sunset being a good guy and then erasing all of Sunset's memories of Canterlot High - was undone, but there was still a lot of smaller memories that she admitted to wiping away that can likely never be restored, and that ignores her locking Sunset and Trixie in the yearbook office (which I'm pretty sure counts as criminal confinement). Them being redeemed isn't the issue - them not seeing any visible repercussions for their crimes is.

We may not have seen the repercussions from others on Starlight, but we certainly saw a lot of self-imposed repercussions. Those should not be underestimated and may in fact be the most important.

when the memory stone was destroyed and Sunset's memories were restored, who is to say that all the memories held inside were not restored as well? Though it is never stated, they were all inside the stone, so when it broke, it would make sense for ALL memories within to go back to their owners. Maybe that's just me.
