Chapter 10

Act 10: The great (and powerful) granddaughter of Alina Lovejewel./A happy finale.

Celestia laid in the forest, caluating a plan, to prepare herself for her latest challenge. So, it started with a rude mannered Griffin, and it ends with a show-offy showmare. Celestia has still not fully healed from Luna's surprise ambush and intervention of turning Diamond Tiara into a gem based on the Element of disharmony… But, it did not matter, for capturing and defeating this, Trixie girl, will render any surviving Element useless. For it to happen, then she needs to give it her all. This time, no mistakes, no equses, no mercy. This is for Equestia. For her sister, for the honor of her family and enternal bloodline, for all she care for. But, most of all, this is for Twilight. Celestia is still haunted by the vision of her being slain by Trixie, with those last words, "CELESTIA! FORGIVE ME-" before her death…. Celestia vowed to ensure such a thing won't happen. This time, this is a determination that won't faulter because a sad story of redemption, a wanting of a greater perpuse, or anything. She is sure of it that Trixie is nothing of past exspearience. Celestia gasped! Celestia began to remember Alina Lovejewel, the reformed offspring daughter of the pirate Cruelbeard! Celestia can't believed it! She is now facing a great desentent of the mare she actselly did trusted with her issue long ago! It's one thing to gemify a redemption seeking griffion, a earth pony celebary who seeks an impossible dream of having a pegicious daughter, her own fake nefpew, a critic who actselly knew love dispite a rapsheet of being a stiff, and earlier before, trumitasing a little filly. But now, a desentent of the one pony she trusted next to Creation himself? She can still remember that kind mare.

In Celestia's memory

Alina said: "I bet it's a real blessing to be able to stay up late. You know, the no need for sleep thing?" Celestia said: "It's a, charming gift, but, it does not hurt to rest anyway, since night is always so dark, and also because of the fact my talent is with the sun, I am hardly as active at night, mostly cause I am the one doing now Luna… you know the legend." Alina said: "Must have been tough to, do what you did to your sister, right?" Celestia said: "Duty to protact the Equestians, and possably the whole world aside, yes. My dad killed the eel when it tried to come after me. We gave mom a burial after what happened. I wanted to get her back, but, Necromancy was declared illegal, too all lands. Tell me, princess, did you had anything to do with banning the magic?" Celestia said: "Only little, the dragon queen was the real mind behind it's banning, she thought the magic is too dangerious for pony and dragon alike because of irrespondsable Necromancers. I share that opinion. Though, I admit, it left all mortal ponies enternal slaves to the Grim Pony Reaper." Alina sighed. Alina said: "I know, all the zombie ponies, angered spirits, and corpse abominations were real problems at the time. It was getting out of hand. But still, sometimes, I wish there would have been another way." Celestia teared. Celestia said: "So do I, Alina, I wish I didn't did what I done to Luna. (softly cries) if only, there was another way at that fateful day." Alina comforted Celestia, placing a hoof on her. Alina said: "I know it's sad to lose a love one, but there are times where great sacrivices need to be taken, whether we like them or not. It's better then doing nothing and letting things get worse." Celestia said nothing. Alina understands why she's silent.

The memory ended.

Then, she remembers the last time she saw her… those fateful, fateful, fateful days ago.

In Celestia's memory.

Later, at a council meeting. Celestia sat the most regelist chear at the table, with Alina at her side. At the table, are many regel, some of them aged, and high class, and greatly power-pilbriged, to be in Celestia's council. A haifly aged Mare by Celestia's side, was the first to rise. She said: "Choosen few, we are gathered, in the most ajoyious occations, the return of our princess of the sun, who was almost lost to us… but, our newest member, and Celestia's first ever adviser, Alina, has saved her, and brought her to us. Cheers for the glory of the sun!" the other choosen few said: "Cheers, for the glory of the sun!" Celestia said: "Thank you, Councilwoman Suprime Royalty." The councilwoman said: "Please your highness, feel free to refer to me as, Royale." Celestia said: "Oh, very well, Royale." Royale said: "Ok, on to our business: Ursa Majors, and what to do with them." A Pegicious councilmen said: "I vote we destroy those monsters!" a unicorn councilwoman retorted: "We sented our best knights, warriors, even went as low as hiring the toughest Mercinary in excitence, but none ever came back!" Royale said: "Well, once again, (sighed in annoyance) Von Drake Sinclair is right once again." A black Unicorn stailian wearing a purple shirt, and a stash, and some golden metals on, with an over-the-top mustache, and a smug smile to boot, and a cutie mark that looks like an iron fist. He was Von Drake Sinclair. He said: "Equestians, Equestains, Equestians, the Ursa Major problem can only be solved by one, and only one salution." The council ponies murmured: "Here it comes." Von Drake said: "It'd time Equestia enters the fighting age! Forsake this, peace and love nonsense! It won't keep great enemies and monsters of legend away! No, weapony does! I propose catipults, crossbow cannons, cannons, those, fancy, flame thower cannons from the asiain contries! Anywho, I ask we counter those Monstresis, with weapony! Bring them to exsintion, before they bring us to exsintion!" Alina said: "One downside to your plan, bud: it stinks! I mean, come on! There's always gonna be a new problem for Equestia to face! you think turning volient is gonna solve them? No, it's just gonna lead to a lot more funerals." Celestia said: "I believe my adviser made a great statement. Besides, haven't we pointed out that these creatures can't be fought? They are massive bear-like monsters! And they can't be harmed by conventional weapons to boot!" a female earth pony councilwoman said: "What about magic?" Celestia said: "I am awaiting results from the finest wizards I assigned to study the sample that was found the day before my, unexsected voyage." Royale said: "Ok, since we oviviously realize that normal weapons don't work, and we yet to realize how magic works on them, anypony else has ideas?" Alina said: "How about, we charmed them into leaving any Equestian city alone forever?" Von Drake said: "HA! It's fairly clear from the property damage and who knows how many casualties that reasoning's out of the question!" Alina said: "Not what I meant, blacky. I meant, magicly charmed them? They may be giant creatures, but still creatures, and all creatures have brains… Though, you, Drakey boy, seem to make a clear as day exsection." Von Drake growled. Alina said: "Bottom line: when those wizards found that magic CAN effect them, I'll summon a strong enough charm spell to make it that the Ursa Majors won't harm the Equestian cities anymore." All the council ponies but Von Drake approved the idea, with happy muttering. Von Drake said: "LUDERCRIST! What if magic can't effect them? What if we'll just end up wasting time and lives over a theory by some out of nowhere hero?" Royale said: "Enough Drake! Remember your place! This mare has saved Celestia from pirates, she earns our trust. You, on the other hand, Drake, made far too many upsets that it's considered a mystery why Celestia still makes you her choosen. Your are lucky to be selthered by the kindess and forgiveness of our princess, or we would've booted you out by now, and replaced you. Do I make myself, clear, Sinclair?" Von Drake growled quietly. Royale said: "Ok, we'll place the Ursa Major thing on hold for now. Meeting ajorn." The council ponies began to leave. Celestia turn to Alina, with a proud smile. Celestia said: "I think you may have found a perfect solution for the Ursa Major problem. But, I do have to check the wizards first, to see their notes on the thing. Your dismissed for today, Alina, the guards will escourt you to your room."

Alina bowed, then followed some guards. Celestia only sighed. She found some wrothy company until the destin new elements of harmony come. Though, they are still far un-borned yet. Well, she hopes Alina and her bloodline will attend to her for generations to come. Although, she can't help to feel, that there's a great deal of darkness in Von Drake's soul. Celestia felt that maybe Von Drake needs to be monitored. Celestia turned to Philomena. Celestia said: "I have strong concerns on one of my Choosen council members, Von Drake Sinclair. I need you to watch him, then return to me so I can read your memory if you found anything." Philomena nodded.

In the private chambers of Von Drake, Von Drake was laying on his bed in anger. Von Drake said: "All my hard work is crumbling! They'll find out that the attacking Ursa Majors were really creation clones of the real ones! Those blasted wizards are smart! They'll sense my magic signitare, and point it to me! Me, the creater of those bumbling clones! Then, my ambitions for making Equestia a proud, glorious war nation will be for not! Unless, I get rid of the wizards, and the results! Then, lie about Magic not effecting the Ursas! It's perfect! Then that, hero, will start to lose the trust of the council… ok, maybe be only off with a fair warning, can't be too hopeful, but, Celestia will start to forbid that mare about speaking out without her consent! There's that, at least. Either way, Equestia will become the war nation I always dream! None of that, fairness, and, equil rights to races! Now, she would have had my repsectible devotion, if she had not brought up the promise to bring equil rights to the genders! I mean, it's one thing that some of the choosen are female, and that we are ruled under a female, but, to slash away a hard earn male dominated socity? I grew up just fine in such a socity! Why must she ruin everything for colts! Perhaps, my incredibly irrational father was right, a mare does not belong in a colt's position! I will follow the colt dream! I shall overthrow Celestia! Then, everything shall be done, the colt way!" he gets up, self-empowered by his twisted words! Von Drake said: "YES! I no longer care of Celestia controls the sun! she can always become a personal slave of mine! Actselly, more then just a regular slave… way, way more…. I always did found her sexy….. (laughs to himself), yes! First, I'll dispove of those wizards, then Alina, then began production of my dream weapons of war! Celestia was at her room, meditating. Philomena came in. Celestia said: "Ah, Philomena. I assumed you found something out from Von Drake." Celestia began the memory read. Celestia's face grow more shocked as the images of Von Drake's tyraid passes though! The memory read was done. Celestia was horrived! She almost did not know what to do! Celestia said: "I need to get to Alina!"

At the wizard study hall. A lone wizard was working. The others called it quits for the day. He was the only one studying the Ursa Major skin before him. The Wizard said: "Oh, Lucky Jackpot, you genius wizard, your close on sloving this equestion on the DNA of the Ursa Majors! Now, just a few more scans around the skin, and-" a door bursted though! It was Von Drake, armed with a sword! Von Drake said: "I am afraid, I am here, to, "Cut" your funding, Lucky." Von Drake laughed sinisterly. Lucky Jackpot was horrivived by the suddenly rouge councilmen! Lucky Jackpot said: "Lord Sinclair, what, what, what is the meaning of this?" Von Drake said: "Nothing personal, fellow Unicorn, I will not allow you to bring my plans to making a war nation to a close! You see, as you were gonna discover, I am the creater of the Ursa Majors that are attacking the cities! I was gonna bring Equestia to a better age! The strong age!" Lucky Jackpot said: "Your insane!" Von Drake said: "I am only filled with Ambition! Big difference!" Celestia appeared, looking angry. Celestia shouted: "VON DRAKE SINCLAIR!" Von Drake lost his comidents! Celestia was on to him! Von Drake said: "Your highness, how?" Celestia said: "You should be more concerned of your fate, Sinclair. (guards appear beside her) I am placing you under arrest, and removed you of your position. You wronged Equestia greatly, Drake. I demand you get the Ursa Majors to stop attacking!"
Von Drake was in a terrible position! Von Drake said: "Your highness, please, I, I was only doing what's best for Equestia! Think about it, if no rough action is taking, then a great problem will ruin everything! Think about it."

Celestia said: "Guards, take him to the holding cells." Von Drake tried to run, but something sharp hit his legs! Von drake screamed! Alina appeared. Alina said: "I knew there was something I didn't trust about you, Drake." Von Drake said: "I am afraid, If i won't have Equestia, then the Ursa Majors will!" he reared up, then stabbed himself with the sword! Everyone was shocked! Von Drake fell down. Von Drake began to close his eyes.

Von Drake is dead.

Celestia said: "I did not wanted this to befall Drake, even if he was an imbacile." Alina said: "It's okay, princess, it means the Ursa Majors can be stop. You and me, togather, your highness." Celestia smiled. Celestia said: "That is comforting to know, Alina."

The memory ends.

Celestia remembers that well, how the Ursa Majors were all stop. However, a few months pass, and Alina wanted to leave Celestia, for reasons that she wanted to forfill her entertainer dream. She said her good byes and good wishes. She was never heard from again. But, Celestia now knew the bloodline was preserved, Alina may had met a nice staillian, or mare, and one of them became male to, do their business, then the rest is history. Ceelstia can't bear to take on a desentent of Alina, not for what Alina has done for her. Celestia said: "It's desided, I simply can't Nightmare control me anymore, I-" Suddenly, Celestia felt a hard force into her face! she was sent flying! She crashed into the ground! Celestia look, to she Luna, Trixie, Twilight and the rest of the mane six! Celestia was fearful, they clearly don't look like they are in a reasoning mood now. Celestia said: "Luna, everypony, please, listen to reason, I-" Luna tossed forword the binding ring! Twilight casted the binding wing spell! Both hit their marks! Celestia felt helpless again! She was weaken from prior hits, disabled on magic and flight, and her energy is depleted still from all that running! Celestia said: "Everypony, please listen, I seen the error of my ways now. What I have done is wrong. Maybe the spirit is planning something I am not aware of. You got to believe me, I-" Luna said: "That's the thing sister. there never was an evil spirit of Nightmare. All this time, there never was. At least, not ever, thanks to our interfearence." Celestia said: "What? What do you mean? What's going on?" Luna said: "Creation told me what is really happening: the Alicorn's Ascension to madness." Celestia gasped in horror to find out this! An alicorn's ascension to madness is the worse ever mental desise any alicorn can get! To top it up, she is the one to have it! Celestia said: "Impossible! I didn't came form a long line of alicorns that are more likely to get the illness! Luna, we came from a healthy family!" Luna said: "It's a very advance and comicaked illness, sister. while it is known to attack weaker Alicorn families, it's not unheard of for it to target those of a stronger fority if comsumed by a great amount of negative or uncontrolled emotions. Sister, I had my own ascension." Celestia gasped, tears are becoming present. Luna said: "But mine was much lesser, all it took for me to become, "Nightmare Moon" was feelings that were incorrect about you, like you cared for nothing but yourself. I too, was tortured by a simuler "Evil spirit", only, it bared a resemablence to a more demonic Discord. It lied everything about you. Until, I entered the final stage: the complete madness form, or, Nightmare Moon as it has become imfamously called." Celestia said: "Luna, (tears become wild), I, I, I didn't know." Luna said: "But sister, you have the more advance case. It was born from not just unbalance and/or negative emotions, but, from also being trumisatased by what Nightmare has done to us, to you. Then, Creation and our aunt and uncle un-knowingly made it worse by taking away your ability to control the elements. Creation, almost failed to realize he sealed your fate. Celestia, you are very close to completing you ascension. You almost become…. Another nightmare."
Celestia gasped. Luna said: "But, the transection was interrupted, when Tiara was saved. And, I trust you know who's bloodline Trixie belongs too?" Celestia began to wimper with those tears. Celestia said: "Yes…. Alina's." Twilight and friends gasped! Trixie said: "Oh, don't be too shocked! Where did you think the cape and hat came from?" Rarity said: "A cheap costume store, because those fabrics-" Trixie said: "My greatgrandmother's mother made this!" Rarity said: "Oops, sorry! But, if you wish to have the attire, improved apawn, look me up, darling." Trixie said: "Trixie will think about it." Celestia said: "But, I, don't understand." Luna said: "It's simple, all those emotions of regret of all those, "Evil ponies"." Rainbow Dash added: "And a griffion" Luna said: "You had transformed into gems feed your regret and shame. Trixie said: "Not I wish to be rude or anything, but, have I done it?" Rainbow Dash said: "Yes, the fact you were related to an awesome pony has saved the day." Trixie said: "But, what was the point of all my training if my bloodline is all was needed?" Fluttershy said: "I guess they were for the Ursa Major you slew with him." Twilight said: "Depends, how did you handle me being Celestia's student, and an Element of harmony?" Trixie laughs. Trixie said: "Well, Creation already granted me a formention of that, but, pretty well I say. Then again, it does explain on how you handled that Ursa Minor well. Again, I, apologies for my, arraganests, Sparkle, I wasn't fully aware of the legacy, and was horrable at hulity, I-" Twilight said: "It's ok, we all have our bad first impressions." Trixie said: "Your sense of forgiveness amazes me, Sparkle. Perhaps I was too rash to pass unfair judgement apawn you and those assuiated with you. Pride is an incredible mind clouder." She wanted to attend, but, was nervious, will the ones she troubled, personaly, impersonaly, intended, un-intended, will react kindly torwords her, she poundered. A voice said: "Sister." Celestia turned to see Luna. Celestia said: "Sister, I, thought you be down there with them." Luna said: "Not without you." Celestia said: "But, I'm nervious, I don't know how the ones I effected personally or not will react with me, I-" Luna said: "Sister, a royal annowsment was stated by your new Adviser Trixie that you were a victim of a powerful mental illness, and that you'll soon be on the road to recovery. Trust me, there will be forgiveness. The griffin will forgive you, she believes a nicer assect on things will prevent her friendship with Rainbow Dash from crumbling. Hoity and Photo will forgive you, in fact, I heard that they won't file a restraining order against you. Blueblood will never hate you, even dispite all that, transpired prior. I am sure when Tiara and Silver become more, lady-like, they could forgive you. Luna said: "Alcourse, dear sister." Celestia and Luna left the room, and went to the party.

Meanwhile, somewhere in another plain of exsintence, where everything was more, shadowy and darker. There lies a dark castle, that sits at it's very center. There was the Spirit as nightmare moon. Looking anxsus, this was the second time she has failed. She lost the Elements of Disharmony, her control over Celestia, and she lost to those 6 mare imbaciles again! Nightmare said: "Ok, Nightmare, stay cool, it isn't the end…. Yet. You still have time before-" a voice boomed: "NIGHTMARE MOON!" Nightmare gasped! Suddenly appearing behind her, was another demonic looking alicorn, simuler to her with the dragon wings, demonic pony cutie mark, firey mane and tail, fangs, black body, and shoes that look like flames, only she was much taller then nightmare, and possably powerful. Nightmare bowed down. Nightmare said: "Oh, great and noble queen Desturction, destroyer of plains, misteress of the shadows, servayer of what she sees and destroys, my humble-" Queen Destruction's mane slaps away Nightmare! Nailing her in the face! Nightmare screamed in pain of the burns on her face. Destruction approached the failed follower. Destruction said: "You useless fool. First you failed to bring an enternal night, twice, then your stupid plan to bring back that idiot Discord failed, and now, your attempt to complete Celestia's ascension to madness, so that I could've prosessed her like you did to her idiot sister, has, to no surprise, failed. I was actselly looking forword to prosess Celestia, but I forgot it was being done by an over-comident twit! Give me one good reason why I shouldn't destroy you, now?" Nightmare was fearing for her exsisnence, Destruction intends to destroy her now. Nightmare said: "Great queen of the Dragocorns, of which is a powerful race of dark ponies, destroyers of light, and dominaters of worlds, hear me out, please! I promise you, there will always be another way, your grace! There is still evil thoughout Equestia, and there will always be anew form of such! We, just, need to know what we're looking for!" Destruction pondered at this idea. This fool brought up a charming statement. Even though both the celestial sisters have done tremedis deeds to keep Equestia safe from the ever-lasting forces of darkness, there is still evil out there. they just need to find it. Destruction said: "Very well, half-ling. You will be spared… for now. The question is, when will we find another grand oppitunity? Those Windeios failed to destroy the mortals, Discord failed his mission, as did you a few times later, the attack of the Timber wolves clearly failed, then you screwed up again, as did Discord, and now this. There was also the few times that other forms of chaos accured, if not already handled, avoided, or prevented by….. Love. But, I shouldn't be so nip-picky. After all, there will always darkness, when ever the light goes. You are dismissed, Half-ling." Nightmare quickly flew off. Destruction said: "We are not yet finished, Celestia, student of Creation. Soon, both of you will bow to my power."
