This was a really cute story. I loved how Pinkie’s surprising beauty and cuteness was captured in this story through Spike’s perception.
It’s actually inspired me to come up with my own story that’s similar to yours, but much different. I won’t be giving away what I have in mind.

Sparity is one that I've enjoyed, though I prefer shipping him with character who (to me, at least) appear closer to his age. Like Pinkie, Apple Bloom. It all depends on how old the characters are supposed to be in the story itself.

That’s something I’ve been wondering about myself lately, how old Spike is compared to the rest of the characters. The only calculation I could make was that he’s obviously younger than the Main Six. But yet, I could never discern how young Spike is.

He's obviously younger that Twilight and Rarity, and older than the CMC. So I'd say he's around 16-19. Really, he could be anywhere from 12-20.
I already knew Pinkie and Spike are the friendship problems. That map is a shipper huh?
