Aw yus.
It's finally here!

He seems to be doing just fine, coming out of his cage.

I am rather looking forward to seeing this creature and its spawn a getting well deserved wrathful punishment.

Just as I was searching for a bedtime story...:pinkiecrazy:

I think the death tag is missing here. at least I presume it is. I'm not sure but it sounds like ponys died.

8917251 Oh, thank you very much! That completely slipped my mind!

Alright, first off this is an interesting way to write a sequel.
Using the “villains” perspective, and doing so well, is what made this story work.
Now let’s see how the next part plays out.

8917717 I'm extremely glad that people have liked the style I went with.

As for the next part: I haven't settled on how I'll tell it. I am positive with how part four will be told. I'm conflicted on the next one being from Sunshine again or from Fluttershy and Rainbow's perspective. I have time to decide though.

Thanks for reading!

8917150 Gonna have to wait on that. :raritywink:

8917144 Or is he?

Let us see where this story goes; an ancestral wrath that overpowers hope, or a reassessment of the HER strength against a beast that had haunted her dreams.

Man, I had ideas for two sequels (which were called Do Not Move, Do Not Breathe and Butterflies). Sadly, this story was written at a time when I began to seriously deviate away from MLP stuff. Like, hardcore. If you're at all interested, I would be more than happy to write quick summaries about them here. Though actually writing them... I sincerely doubt I'd ever do that. If I ever post another story to FiMFiction (which I'm almost certain I will at some point in the near future), it would be about something I'm passionate about.

Do Not Move, Do Not Breathe was at one point going to take place at the Pie farmstead, but I later changed it to center on Fluttershy & Rainbow Dash. Rainbow would've been staying at Fluttershy's place due to a multitude of disappearances that had occurred. From there, Mister Sunshine would've entered the picture and it the story would have been akin to a game of cat and mouse, with the two ultimately dying in the end. It would have tonally been a lot like this story.

Butterflies would've taken place almost immediately after the previous story and centered on Twilight. An enormous black cloud would've been looming over Ponyville and it would have more or less just been one giant fight between her and Mister Sunshine. In the end, she would've beaten him, and a crapton of butterflies would've been freed; all of the "children" having been his victims from across the ages. They all would've transformed back into who they were, including Rarity, her parents, Fluttershy, and Rainbow Dash.

Ultimately, I didn't write them, but now you know what my plans would have been had I written them.

that butterfly thing is really cool :O and I'm glad to know the series would have had a happy end!
