The first mission that the map sends Twilight and company on was not a success. Starlight Glimmer has converted Twilight's friends and starts using drastic measures on Twilight. Wasn't planning on it. Peeps who like and peeps who dislike her are generally very strongly set in their opinion of her.
It's certainly gonna be a struggle for Twilight to hold out until her friends outside the Mane 6 can arrive. It'll definitely be a question of how hard it'll be if Twilight falls before then.

Maybe you can have sunset help to release twilight and then she manages to defeat starlight, bluntly telling her that she had been holding back before but now after doing is to her and her friends then she decides she will stop being nice

I don't see how DISCORD hasn't felt the Chaos that Starlight is causing and once he finds out what Starlight did to Fluttershy, well she's good as dead then.

Okay I guess that's true, I just hope the Author thinks to bring Discord in, maybe have Luna first go into the dreams of the Mane 6 first before they send him in.
Twilight's still fighting, but Starlight's methods are starting to get to her. Her ego is getting so high she doesn't realize what she is about to bring down on Our Town. But with her extreme methods making her residents starting to question her now instead of just merely missing their Cutie Marks at times, Starlight is gonna have a fight on two fronts on her hooves. Looking forward to seeing what happens next.
I wonder if Twilight's trust with her friends will be broken for good after all this?

Yeah I guess that is true, that is UNTIL Fluttershy misses their weekly Tea Parties and he will then fly over to Twilight's castle and try to find out what happened to her, either he asks spike or goes up to Canterlot then to talk with the Princesses, or of course he could come across the Cutie map and see Fluttershy's cutie mark floating above Starlight's village but then it could change to the equal symbol and that would get him wondering what's happening there.

I find starlights logic flawed. Not everypony in the village is equal since the pegsi still fly while the others are stuck on the gound. Yet those same pegsi made ranibow dash stop flying whilest flying.
And yet again Starlight proves what a horrific nightmare of a character she can be.
I really hope she burns in Tartarus for what she's done to Twilight and her friends.
Also - this chapter needs an editing pass. The first paragraph with Applejack is missing some quotation marks in the sentences, which just makes the whole thing run together awkwardly.
Hope starlight faces ounishment for this like a full non holding back beatdown from twilight

Been busy. But let's just say Starlight's plan may bring Celestia's worst out. Good thing sunset will be there.
Just have Discord and Sunset show up and start blasting magic all over, and make sure to snap Starlight's horn off, I hate that mare and can't stand they made her Twilight's student instead of Sunset.

So Sunset is going to have to rein in Discord going apeshit over what has happened to Fluttershy, and keep Celestia from going Daybraker over Twi, all while empathizing with both of them and wanting a pound of flesh herself?
She and Luna are going to have there hooves full with that, all the while fighting their own want for vengeance, but stopping due to their history with such negative feelings.
Or Starlight is going to run headling into Daybraker, Nightmare Moon, Sunset Satin and a pissed off Discord, all out for her blood. I'm cool with either outcome.
