Fluttershy has mixed feelings with her brother. Although she loves and cares for him deeply, he’s often caused trouble for her and their family. His biggest problems are his quick money schemes. If he sees an activity he believes it will earn him cash with little effort, he’ll dive into it right away. He passed them off as new hobbies, but quickly gave up on them after only a few tries.
As Zephyr starts another one of his schemes, Fluttershy decided it would be best to keep an eye on him. She begins researching her brother’s new hobby and found something she never heard of before. Curious, she delves deeper into it, where she’s introduced to a game series and a competitive community she never thought she’d enjoyed.

I have a few suggestions for games other than Tekken that can be featured. Killer Instinct, Pokken Tournament, Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat, Jojo's Bizarre Adventure games, Marvel vs Capcom, Blazblue, Guilty Gear, Injustice, Super Smash Brothers, Soul Calibur, and a few others. But those are the ones I can think of immediately. Use them if you want because I'm looking forward to this story continuing!

Tekken will be the main focus of the story. Fluttershy may branch out to other games, but not yet. Right now she doesn't know much about fighting games and will do some research on it later.

I did expect Fluttershy to like Pokemon, but Kingdom Hearts was an interesting choice for her to be a fan of. I think I read a story that mentioned that as well. Either way, now it seems that Fluttershy has gotten into fighting games and realizes that Zephyr won't be able to pull it off like he thinks he can.
Let's see the next chapter soon! I want to see Flutters play Tekken and other fighting games for herself! I'm sure that the others will get into them as well if they help her practice.

Okay. A plan for updates is good. I suggest that one of the first stages that Fluttershy plays is the Jungle Outpost because it's got great music.
Also, Flutters will be surprised at Super Smash Brothers and Pokken Tournament when she learns of them.

I will say Kingdom Hearts' story can get pretty confusing but it is REALLY such a fun series! I recently started getting back into playing the games or watching videos.
Surprised Rainbow Dash doesn't like it. I can understand her favorites being racing or sports games given her character but I thought she'd like RPG's or fighting games.

It's great to see Fluttershy getting into Tekken to start. I'm sure she'll enjoy several other games as well when somebody in the story suggests a few. I'm sure that after the others hear about how much Fluttershy is getting into the game, Pinkie Pie starts looking up games similar to Tekken and a few other students lend copies of them to Flutters. Just what could happen in my opinion.

I choose Indigo Zap because of her personality is close to Rainbow. Seeing that the two are very similar, aside from Rainbow being a bit more mature, Indigo Zap would be a good mentor to Fluttershy due to her competitive nature.

the premise is interesting, but as a FG aficionado... Tekken is... not something a scrub like Zephyr would play... or something that actually requires a fight stick... the crappy console controls are pretty useful for that kind of button mashing fighting game...

Fluttershy would enter in a third tournament with her friends supporting her, along with her brother, who realized his mistakes and decides to cheer her sister on. She enters along with Indigo Zap, who taught her everything there is to know about the game. On her first match, she loses and is taken to the loser's bracket. However, she comes back and wins the rest of her matches and eventually makes it to Top 8 (see Snake Eyes Capcom Cup 2015). She wins the rest of her Top 8 matches and faces Indigo Zap in the Grand Finals. Indigo Zap wins the match after a bracket reset, making Fluttershy finish second in the tournament. The story ends with Fluttershy proclaiming she loves her new hobby and takes her friends out to eat with the earnings she's made.
Well that sucks. I was looking forward to this. Oh well.
