A valiant effort on Flash's part, but ultimately futile. It'll take a lot more than that to penetrate Zephyr's willing delusions. Still, good try.
Oh man, I hate guys like this. Thank you for portraying Flash the way he is. It shows that there are guys out there with that mindframe. Sadly, more guys tend to have the same mindset as Zeph and that's... really sad.
Even with as frustrating as he is, this was a nice, refreshing read. It's something they never really covered in either of the shows and I don't really know if they ever will. This kind of relationship is usually played for laughs. The problem with that is that there's never any bring-up of how the behavior is wrong and these shows are aimed at kids. So the kids who are seeing it just think: Oh! If someone doesn't like me, I just have to keep trying and eventually they'll give in.
So thanks for writing this. It was a nice read!
I think Zephyr has stuck to the point where impressing Rainbow Dash is now more of an addiction than simply wanting her to like him. Like, c'mon dude, you are probably one of these least attractive guys on the show, with the least attractive character and personality to boot.

Well, kudos to you. You really got Zephyr Breeze's whole egocentric, idiotic, dimwitted personality on the level. When I tried to get his character down for most of my stories, I just get irritated.
There are two words the come to mind about you Zephyr. Delusional and weirdo. And if I have to say a third, sad just sad.
