In what way would snooping in a dream be illegal to those who themselves probably wrote the laws?
So far it is well done I like it. Also think the first time I've seen a Luna dash ship but don't knock it till you try it.

She originally says that she wants dash to buy her dinner then after dash shows hesitation she offers to pay.
personally i tend to stick to lunajack or the more understandable twiluna. ive read a number of others but those tend to be the ones i like. out of pure curiosity i tried this. i gotta say, this has a damn good chance of being the first lunadash ive read that ive enjoyed.
im rather looking forward to more.

This story has some really unfortunate consent/manipulation issues going on. I was hoping that it would be fluffy and light, but Luna starts by violating Dash's trust, then follows it up by pressuring Dash into a date. Seems kind of scummy on Luna's part. :(

Considering Dash has a massive crush on Luna, I think it's more on the line of the physical way she'd ever get to make RD give it a chance, after what happened.

The way I see it is that the date is a genuine apology from Luna. Considering that Rainbow appears to have it bad for her, Luna decided to let her indulge in her fantasy for real, and she does it in such a way so Rainbow can't chicken out. Luna appears to be doing Rainbow a favor because she is stuck fantasizing about her every night without mustering up the courage to just ask her out.

I can see where you're going with this, but you don't usually make something that is seen as a courtesy illegal.
Making it illegal personally feels too harsh, and it certainly makes it seem far less likely that Luna would enter Dash's dream if it were illegal for her to do so. Going against convention is one thing, but going against the law just because you're bored seems much too extreme.

If it happened often enough for laws to be put in place, chances are that the law itself is a relatively new one - presumably made to keep the new dreamwalking Guards in line and held accountable for their actions. I could easily see her justifying to herself that it ought not to apply to her, given her station.
