Shadowmane PX-41

Just your average british lad. I write things for a living. It’s the strangest living you’ll ever find, second only to my inability to take myself off of the grid.

T

Everyone knows Sugarcoat as being a stuck-up, smart-mouthing, hyper-intelligent, soon-to-be valedictorian with grades who surpassed everyone at Crystal Prep after Twilight left for Canterlot High.

But, much like everyone, Sugarcoat had a childhood. And when she tells her story to the other Crystal Preppers she finds to be her acquanitances, they'll find out that she was much, MUCH different as a kid.

In the most delightful way!

By the way this was good and you should feel good for writing it. :)

Also, I too am a huge fan of Caddicarus, and I feel you and I would get along just great and swell as buddies. I'll leave my calling card on the table for you, good sir.

I told myself not to make this joke, but I'm doing it anyway.

Sugar... oh, honey, honey... :pinkiecrazy:

I will (and have) like(d) your story purely out of surface appeal.

"Well, I suppose I could talk about this new profession that I've been taking up ever since the Friendship Games." Sunny Flare raised her finger, attracting the attention of the group straight away. "Who knew that the world of dress-making could be so enthralling? It's not just about your satins and velours, no. There's plenty of—"

"I said lighter, not boring." Indigo Zap put her hand over Sunny's mouth.

Just be grateful Rarity wasn't around to hear that.

"Yeah! C'mon, Sugar. What've you got to lose?" Lemon Zest fluttered her eyebrows.

"My self-respect? My sanity? My lunch?" Sugarcoat tried listing off the different examples by pulling on her fingers, but it didn't divert the attention of the other Shadowbolts as they got even closer to her.

I like the SpongeBob reference.

I think I wait for one or two more chapters before I decide to give this story a favorite, but I'll still give it a like.

This could be interesting.

8098617 You don't know who...?

You've never heard of...?

Oh, I don't think we're going to get along swimmingly now, buddy. Go look up Caddicarus and return to me when you have learned his name.

Nice, but it would be interesting to have insight into how Sugarcoat evolved into the girl she is now.

"You never told us you had a teddy bear, Sugarcoat."

Where were you third paragraph from the end of last chapter, Izzy?

I'm enjoying this so far.
I like Sugarcoat and I really love how you've characterised the Shadowbolts.
I'm eager to see how she changes...Eager and...quite scared.
Something must have happened to cause such a change.
Keep it up. Heard you were under some stress. Hope this helps in some small way.

Wonderful work and amazing hit in the characters-Shadowbolts - I can say that as a connoisseur, having read hundreds of works with their participation.
Very cute plot and great use of Sugarcoat in it. Honestly, I am delighted with this work. It's very sad that, apparently, there will be no sequel, but, in any case, this work is great)

(I'm bad at English, I use a translator, sorry anyway))
