I happen to be a big fan of Final Fantasy but first off who in the world are these two! OCs as SOLDIER 1st class that is next to unforgivable but the names make it too much I mean who names their kid Die? Next too much flashback and a daydream in a flashback needs pro skills to write. Unique mataria no just no. Finally certain things seem like they have been too much while at the same time they are not polished.

Edit In my eyes 9,10,and 12 were good but in varing ways 9 was a lighter and more idealistic from 7 and 8, 10 was great in gameplay and story voice acting... not so much 12 had the best plot except maybe 4 or 6 the change to realtime fighting however was the worst possible thing.

Hey hey, woah there. 8 was pretty bad ass. 10 was k, 10-2 was fan service and everyone knows it, and 12 was decent, i like 12. (You know even though)The final boss was VEEEEEERY disappointing (and using swords when freaking guns were abundant, but they had that in the others as well); but i mean c'mon, all in all they didn't KILL the series. That's just way to(o) harsh.

8 had QUITE alot of plotholes. Let's take this for instance.
So you're playing through the game, and your objective is to turn off an anti magic field...so you cant do magic.
outside of battle. How are you STILL able to do MAGIC. IN. BATTLE.
that's so fucking stupid, if it's an anti magic FIELD, you should not be able to cast magic ANYWHERE inside the field. things like this kill the believability of a game, and ruins the world little by little. also, the characters are cardboard cutout horrible personalities. I can give you quite alot of reasons as to WHY. I can also give you quite alot of other reasons why 8 killed it for many people.
I've played this, reviewed it before, and many others before me have preached about this, but nobody wakes up to realize how horrid the series from 8 and over are.

930472 yeah, my co-author has suggested they become pegasi, since they still have their materia, so they wouldn't need to become alicorns to use magic. Plus they still have their backpacks filled with other materia. The only question is what materia did they take with them

Oh, well in that case, worry about shipping after they become ponies. On the note of what materia they should have, they would have brought at least cure/cura/curaga, maybe a few summons, some elemental ones, as their are enemies that solar and lunar based attacks wouldn't be too effective against, example: water elemental, i don't know that many different kinds or examples, as i haven't played too much final fantasy myself, want to though, the problem is i haven't got any good emulators for it. :P
There are two ways you could have their materia shown:
1) Have them go through their stuff.
2) Have them pull their shit out as they need it.
I personally would go with option 1
