I went in mostly hesitant, and I think it needs a little work with writing the characters, but this was alright.
This is cute, and the idea of Luna finding Luna (or Woona) seems perfect. But I wonder if this story is going to have a plot or if it's just going to be Luna reacting to Woona being cute for who knows how long? And if Luna is a 6th year why is Hermione still allowed at Hogwarts? Or is everyone retaking those years after the Battle of Hogwarts?
Oh well, I'm tracking this for now.

7808623 there's a fanfiction called chaotic champion on fanfiction.net where Harry Potter uses a ritual to send himself back in time and through realities to Equestria and becomes Discord but eventually gets called back by the Goblet of Fire it's only got three chapters so far and a bunch of grammar errors but it's a really good book and the plot is convincing and plausible

I may have a bit of an odd take on some of the sorting:
On the surface, hard-nosed Applejack looks like a shoe-in for Gryffindor, but her whole arc is constantly tied to hard work, fair play, familial loyalty, and I guess apples. If she could even tear herself away from the farm long enough to edumacate at a remote school, Hufflepuff. Yawn.
That strange yellow girl evinces patience, dedication, and (misguided) kindness, but not much else. Plus, she's the only one who could get along with the attitude and smell of a badger. Hufflepuff, and heaven help the headmaster's phoenix.
Pinkie Pie's self-awareness belies the ditzy behavior she fronts. She has a detailed mental dossier of an entire town's population, and probably knows way more about reality than she lets on or may even be aware. She outsmarts Twilight Sparkle by simply being. And as the only one who could truly understand Luna Lovegood, Ravenclaw. The association may be lazy, but so is …
Rainbow Dash, who would be sorted into Slytherin before the hat even graced her technicolor mane. This monolithic attention sponge is needy and self-absorbed to a high degree with merely a tenuous attachment to her small circle of silly ponies, upon which she's an awful influence (especially poor Bumblefly). At this point you may be wink, click, and gun-finger to the grotesque tune of James Potter. I counter that she'd probably be secretly smug about sharing the same house as the awesome, former dark lord. Sorry. But if on some fluke she did make it into Gryffindor, it would be by virtue of her towering arrogance (the same that gave her impetus to stand up to casual bullies), and little else.
Rarity desires to claw her way up the social ladder and to stamp creative notoriety all over her name. Perhaps she could promote a charity in her name on the way to the top. If any of the six were more ambitious than Rainbow, it would be her. Besides not all in the house being stereotypically nasty pieces of work, it would be hilarious to see her suffer in putrid Slytherin green.
Twilight Sparkle would make the hat fidget between Ravenclaw and Slytherin. It would likely come to a decision based on which way Twilight's mood was swinging at the moment: needing to learn for learning's sake, or to fulfill the obsessive drive to prove herself to Celestia. As the latter seems to pilot her character far more, Slytherin. Later, she'd would write a graduate thesis on the magical dynamics of the thing. In her first year.
Bonus:
Spike has characteristics sufficient enough to slot him into either Ravenclaw or Slytherin, but would push for whatever house Twilight was sorted into so he could get a bunk in the cozy dungeons of Slytherin and continue serving in familiarity as her number one goon.
Shining Armor is so Gryffindor it would make even Godric gag. He would be an insufferable prefect, and it would gall him endlessly to see his younger sister sorted into Slytherin.
