I think what happened is that she calculated the time it would take for every kernel to pop, rather than the amount of time to pop as many kernels as possible without burning any.

You know..this is some kinda wonderful right here. I'm digging the series so far and I'm glad you added a little.heart string tugging. Just enough to get you hooked into the developing friendship.

This is definitely my favorite chapter, at leats in the "Vs Ponyville saga". I love Luna's fear of baseballs.

Also Enraged Luna is epic. I loved the whole broken glasses bit.

Probably one of the most. Beautifully designed scenes I've read in a short peice. The fact you added a lovecraft poem to it takes it from a wonderful moment of dusting away her past mistakes and regrets. For a new and better tomorrow, and turns it into an infinitely, deep, and mystical event.
