Holy shit it's back! Great story wish I could like more than once. The twilight situation is pretty bad, huh. She caused identity death to a great being so obviously she deserves pretty harsh punishment,but on the other hand she's the element of Magic, a powerful artifact that will theoretically be needed to conflict with potentially world ending threats. So any punishment she serves can't be something that'd permanently keep her from saving the world. There's no really ideal solution here. The only punishment I can think up is to trap her in stone for a period of time and then let her out if she's needed? Dunno, looking forward to how that situation turns out though!

Hmmm. Given she's an Element of Harmony and a hero, it seems to me that the proper punishment shoukd be a two-parter. First is having her own status as nobility revoked and to be put on eternal probation. She'd be required to have mandatory screenings and checkups, and oversight on everything she does to be allowed to do anything that isn't sitting in a prison cell or being assigned some scholarly job she has to do or else.

If those watching her say she fails to measure up, then and only then will she be subjected to one of the aformentioned punishments of magic sealing, life imprisonment, dehorning, execution, ect.

Dude, this fic us INSANE. The entire premise is insane twilight "killing" discord and the husk left behind figuring out who they want to be? Stellar. The subtle horror of everyone else's POV's as they watch strife figure out existing 10/10.
