It's the first annual Carousal Congregation, a semi-formal meeting where all of Rarity's business partners meet up and, theoretically, discuss the business of fashion. After all, keeping up with trends from across Equestria is always important. And it couldn't hurt to meet the boss's other employees. It's not like they're from entirely different social spheres with no similarity at all, right?

Admirable job with the cover.

She cleared her throat and sat down nex to Coco.

Maybe next time we have a Carousal Congregation

I think you meant Carousel.

I like your style of writing, how you captured the characters, and the interaction between Sassy Saddle and Plaid Stripes. :raritywink:

into organized crime or anything like that,

I can't really see that existing in a city where you have two goddesses older than pony recorded history running the place that you can't just grease the frogs of, or silence if they get too nosy (and have enough internal firepower to level castles), and whose love ones trying to threaten are a very foolish idea.

This story as a conversation piece is well written. The characters are in character, and you expand on what we know about them and keep it all natural, and their interactions are fluid and never truly draw me out of the story, and the chats about the realities of the business side of things is interesting. Though I wonder if there is more to Coco and Rarity's private chat than meets the eye. And they made the tabloids? Oh dear, after Gabby Gums, you think Rarity would have more of a negative reaction to that.

If I had one actual negative things to say about the story, is that it just sort of, ENDS, it could have kept going, or it could have ended earlier, there is no real down-beat to signal the end of the narrative. That being said, it's good to see this chat between Rarity's work hands.

And Poor Coco having to deal with Plaid's egocentric ideas, and having to keep three animals on her payroll, and keeping the noise from the dance club upstairs from noise polluting the store. And what's even more insane that apparently her first name is *****ING copyrighted so Hasbro can't use her first name anymore. What kind of insane world do we live in?

i like how you wrote plaid stripes, a character i was confused about and did not understand on the episode. ¿why does it say on the description that they met in ponyville?

7253296 Someone seriously down voted your corrections, I mean who does that?

7253780 Petty rivals who can't just turn a blind eye to the existence of their one-sided enemies. That's who.

It's kind of adorable, really. Protip: Alex Warlorn has a really thin skin.

7253508 The thugs Dr. Caballeron hired to attack Daring Do in Daring Don't had to come from somewhere.

7254495

I just don't think they have their base in Canterlot.

And what's even more insane that apparently her first name is *****ING copyrighted so Hasbro can't use her first name anymore. What kind of insane world do we live in?

I must have missed something. Please explain.

Dreadnought

I am curious. What were Rarity and Coco discussing? Kind of leaves you hanging.

I sense some sort of mentorship coming on between Sassy Saddle and Plaid Stripes. I for one would love to see more of it.

Now I want to know more about Coco's love life.

7254537 The story has the organized crime in Manehatten not Canterlot.

7255773

Sassy said "I didn't get involved in organized crime" when describing Canterlot.

Loving the concept here. My hest guess is Coco is having a little trouble with dealing with Plaid Stripes. Loving the way Plaid and Sassy work off each other. Perhaps we can see Plaid transfered to the Canterlot store since the Manehatten store seems kind of over staffed compared to the others.

I really enjoyed this!
The characters play off one another very well!
I must say, even I'm interested in Miss Saddles past now!
(Also, the blossoming mentorship between the two is pretty great.)

That was a cute little story

Good work.

Wait, you're cutting it off here? I mean, yes, it's a somewhat logical stopping point, but I found myself deeply engrossed in the conversation. This a fantastic little character piece that left me wanting more. Nice work.

"Oh, Coco probably wants advice about her romantic life." Plaid leaned back and sipped her juicebox. "You would not believe the crazy things that mare gets entangled in--there was that thing with the Orange family, and then there was the griffon, and now it's actually a changeling..."

So A Change In Fashion?

This was amusing and all-too-short. To be honest, I want to hear more.

"Have you ever heard the word nepotism before?"

"Nah. Is it some foreign word for fur collars?"

That's when your nephew's a damn poop!

Really not sure what the point was here.

Carousal Congregation

This definitely needs to be "Carousel" in every instance, they are not carousing at this congregation. c.c;

Great interactions between the two characters
