SuperPinkBrony12

I'm a brony and a Pinkie Pie fan but I like all of the mane six, as well as Spike. I hope to provide some entertaining and interesting fanfics for the Brony community.

(Proofread by Smity91 on Fanfiction.net, and proofread and edited by deadpansnarker on FiMFiction.) Sassy Saddles knows she isn't the only pony who co-manages one of Rarity's boutiques, and she is quite content with keeping Canterlot Carousel running smoothly with or without Rarity around to help.

But when a conference for the latest and greatest up and coming fashion designers comes to Canterlot, Sassy is unexpectedly given the opportunity to meet another business partner of Rarity's, Coco Pommel, for only the second time to boot.

Coco has only ever left the comfort of Manehattan once, even after launching her own fashion career. And Sassy is a Canterlot pony through and through.

When Rarity leaves due to an unexpected fashion emergency, she decides to have Coco assist Sassy at Canterlot Carousel in the hopes of giving Coco more experience, and Sassy a chance to work with somepony besides her boss. But is Rarity making the right decision?

The story I never knew I wanted. Great character development and interactions all around.

I really like this story, and I'm not just saying that just cos I be editor. :raritywink:

Why would they need a thimble, they have no fingers.

9380628 We've still seen Rarity prick herself with a sewing needle.

Unless their thimbles are the size of a gauntlet that wouldn’t safeguard against that.

I must’ve missed that cameo during the movie. Then again there are so many callbacks in the first scene alone it’s hard to mess

9422494 They were with Rarity during "You Got This". I don't blame you for missing it considering they were among the cameos that were just added and then quickly forgotten about.

Nice interactions between both characters

9380628
Maybe their thimbles are gloves.

9614960
In theory their hooves would be reasonably needleproof.

"But we don't normally wear clothes." Coco commented.

:ajsmug: See, toldja

I never really thought about these two interacting before, but now that I see it, I wonder - why did the show never do it? I like the character development on all sides.

My only criticism is that the story feels a bit too rushed after Coco and Sassy meet. It just goes so quickly - them getting along, Coco developing confidence to deal with the stallion, Coco's offer to Sassy, and the conclusion between the two. I'm guessing you tried to write this in the manner of an episode of the series, but it just feels too fast-paced to me. I just wish more time had been taken on their progress and development in the boutique.
