Small Dragons, Big hearts: Unity is Power: S1E02—Midnight Darkscales is no more. Nightfall Sheen, his assistant Wishful Legend and his new circle of friends all played a part in purifying the corrupted brother of Lord Lumin and restoring Lord Umbra to normal.
In honor of this, Nightfall is sent seven tickets to the next Big Burning Bash: the biggest event in all of Draconia! With seven tickets, there's no conflict to resolve, right? Aside from his friends having unrealistic expectations, what could possibly go wrong when everygon—plus one filly—has their own ticket?

Once again, very good job on the exchanges, emotional content, humor and future chapter set-up in all the right places. And, of course, I AM curious as to how you are going to squeeze an actual adventure out of this, but that's what future chapters are for. And speaking of future chapters, I will definitely be looking forward to more of this (as well as more stories in this series) as soon as time and inspiration will allow.
Oh, and I'm sorry I forgot to mention this earlier (mainly because I failed to check the featured character part beforehand), but I can guess that this universe's counterparts to the Diamond Dogs are going to be the main villains of this story. And, judging by the drama and thriller tags, I'm guessing this universe's counterparts to the Diamond Dogs are much tougher and/or smarter than their canon counterparts. Of course, I could be wrong and I will still be looking forward to more of this as soon as time and inspiration will allow anyway.

And, I'll bet that, even though Nightfall didn't mention her out loud, one of those high-ranking guards he passingly mentioned was probably his big sister (though I will admit I COULD be wrong about that).

Anyway, yeah, Nightfall's big sis is one of those who would dress fully formal for that event. I may or may not bring her up when The Bash finally happens, but we'll just have to wait and see.
Also, thanks for the positive feedback on Silver Bolt's introduction. I'll try to make other character introductions down the road be just as good, whether it requires a similar introduction, or one totally different (depending on the scene, of course).
I hope you continue to enjoy this fic as it continues to update, and by extension, the series as a whole.

And, I don't know if I mentioned this or not, but going for a more adventure-oriented vibe for this series is oddly similar to Lauren Faust's original vision of the canon series (if I remember what I read from an interview correctly).
And, if the Diamond Dog counterparts are even half as tough and/or smart as I suspect they are (I mentioned that in an earlier review of this story; you're going to have to check the past reviews carefully), I am almost too scared to think about how bad this universe's counterparts to the MAJOR villains are going to be.

I was impressed by Havoc. It looks like the gang can't relax yet. I'm very happy about this update. I hope more are to come in the future. Maybe Havoc can cause even more problems before the gala and even during said event. Anyway, great job.
7912585 Well, as soon as my co-author recovers from being ill, we can hopefully get started on Chapter 5. I'm glad you're impressed by Havoc. Havoc's powerful enough to not even need to care about what's on the Evil Overlord list. This AU is full of genre-savvy villains, so how can we top that? Why, with a villain who's the savviest of all, but is so powerful that throwing caution to the wind doesn't make a lick of difference, of course!
Havoc knows every little thing a villain should avoid to assure victory. However, Havoc doesn't give one rip about what the guidelines say to do and avoid. Havoc's powerful enough to be able to afford to not care.
And don't worry, Havoc's gonna be around a long time. The final battle with Havoc won't happen until the series finale, which is way off in the future.
As for the Bash, Havoc may have a hand in messing it up. You'll just have to wait and see.
Excellent job on the latest chapter. It took a while, but was WELL worth the wait. I have to say, that was one doozy of a reveal. Out of the frying pan and into the fire, so to speak. And, yeah, it was a good thing Wishful DID insist on coming. I just hope the message reaches Lumin in time. I am definitely going to be looking forward to the next chapter (which I'm guessing will be either the last or second-to-last chapter) as soon as time and inspiration will allow.

Nitpick: I know the Diamond Dogs aren't bright, bit being warm-blooded doesn't mean that these dragons aren't reptiles. Leatherback turtles are warm-blooded.

They have other mammalian traits I'd rather not get into at this time. They're a middle ground between reptile and mammal.
And Lady Bellona is part of their religion. She's one of the Greater Athanatoi one of her multiple dominions is battle, hence why Extra prayed to her.
