3 years ago, Princess Ember became Dragon Lord thanks to Spike. Her reign was satisfying, but it soon became too much for her to handle alone, and thanks to an old lost rule discovered, Ember found the key to all of her problems........Spike, becoming her consort to all of the Dragon Lands. Will the 2 of them be able to handle the new tasks and challenges that lie ahead of them?
This story takes place after 3 years from the episode "Gauntlet of Fire". Whatever events happen after the episode that deal with Spike and/or Ember will have no context whatsoever in this story.

I'd go with Cadence and Shining Armor. Not only will he get to avoid Blueblood's unroyal behavior towards Ember, but spending time with Cadence, the Princess of Love, might allow Spike and Ember to develop more of a romantic connection to each other.
I'd go with Option B as well.
I would go with a mix of A and B head to canterlot Learn a bit Celestia finds out she isn't that great at leading how a dragon does and ends up sending them to the crystal empire anyway. Give it a little more story and lets you do both.

I go with Cadence because if there's anyone who knows about consort and love it's the Princess of Love and Light(and maybe add in Flurry Heart for support).
