And regarding Portuguese, it is a quite distinct language, way more complex than Spanish and possibly French, and with millions of verb forms I can't even translate.
It's more complicated than it should be, because while other languages evolved to become easier to speak and write, Portuguese froze in time with many useless rules.
That's a huge problem when it comes to writing in English, considering I'm used to a language that allows me to use a vast amount of words. It's like trying to play a piano piece with only half of the keys.
