I freaking love that guy, but I'm glad twilight and the others are finally realizing just how outmatched they are right now, and buggy seems like he perfect enemy to take down since he isn't really that strong( although they probably won't "take him down" more like defeat him and he'll act like he was going easy on them and let them go as possible allies maybe)

No offence to you but these nightmare chapters and plotlines are somewhat of a sore spot for me.
I have read enough of them, that when a chapter starts promisingly and then halfway through I actually figure out it's one of those plots, it just pisses me off. Sorry but it's one of the many cliches that I would happily see dead and buried.
7693096 Well I appreciate that feedback. Maybe my gravitation towards it comes from Naruto (Itachi has long been my favorite character) and I feel it fits an anime setting. 7694439 Yeah, my comment was not meant as a criticism of your writing in general. Your writing in this story has been of a rather high standard, especially for an anime crossover (their reputation in terms of writing quality is almost as bad as the displaced was at its worst), but rather just this one plotline.
I will keep reading this as the quality so far has been so good and the ending of this chapter did hint at the plotline being done with.
As for the reason for my dislike of this nightmare plotline. It might at least partially come from how I view mind-control etc. As in it is one of the worst things you can do to a another sapient. I view it as a form of rape and in someways worse than any physical rape can be. Someone who has been mind-controlled like that can never truly know they are free of the control again. Whoever controlled them might just be giving them false hope for their own sick satisfaction. For example, how is Twilight going to be able to make sure that when she wakes up it isn't just the start of another similar nightmare? Whatever is giving her the nightmares could just be making any scan spells she uses to give false negatives etc.

I too put a high value on personal freedom, and I think this works because one of the main goals of many characters in OP is to be truly free. It just makes this power all the more deadly.
But I know exactly where you're coming from, me, I can't stands it when a character has their power stolen/temporarily locked away/what have you. Just feels so disrespectful...

King crimsons stand user had a split personality who didn't realize he was the same man, and acted like a bumbling fool most of the time. The way his other half would contact him is by an imagined telephone. The shift between personalities was so distinct that both personality, voice, and even body would change.
