- If I remember correctly, the reason Sylvanas and the Forsaken broke free of The Lich King's will in the first place was because Illidan used The Eye of Sargeras to decimate Northrend, damaging The Lich King, and indirectly causing The Lich King to call for Arthas in the first place. So the ponies could theoretically somehow damage The Lich King seriously enough to break his will with a portion of his minions, causing Twilight, Chrysalis and a portion of The Scourge to break free and make the equestrian version of The Forsaken.

Well I was referring to the starting area for the DK where you fight some paladins on holy ground with the ashbringer, and that forces Arthas to lose control.
