1390256. Oh that it just cruel. I figured it out, but only because I read this hint. Also not a fan of ending at this spot; I'd prefer it if you had done an epilogue, but that's just a personal preference. Definitely great for a first fic, and I'm looking forward to more of Night Shift.

That was interesting. Though familiarity with the plot of Blood Omen resulted in guessing what's going to happen next. Oh, and I kept expecting appearance of the equivalent of Soul Reaver. But I don't know what it purpose could it served in this tale.

okay, big fan of this story. i try to read it at least ever other year. the ending was nice and open, ready for any interpratation by anyone really. and it gave the game justice. honestly. the legacy of kain games are a childhood fav. of mine, and i can't find any good storys that do them justice. but when i fond this story, i was hooked. you got the diologe almost as shakespearn as the games did, and i think this is one of my favorite storys on this site. i really wish you would do soul reaver or blood omen 2 would suvice, but this i will handle. keep doing what you do, jawjoe.

Interesting that you like it so much. Looking back, as the author, I find this story horrible. If I were to write it today, I'd do a lot of things very, very differently.

But yeah, I tried to do the games justice. If fans of the game like this story, I take it I succeeded.

I'm honestly always kind of surprised when someone says they liked Harmony's End. I consider it my weakest work by far.

As for Twilight's choice... take a look at the chapter titles again.

The story idea is very compelling and while you might consider it weak it flows rather well. Its easy to get sucked in. I dont know, it read like Twilight was telling me a story, it's not something you run across all that often. I have read worse believe me, this I could not easily walk away from, it was just to good.

Yes, you did, when it only had a few chapters. This was my first fic. It's quite terrible. But it set me on this path of pony writing, and for that it'll always be special to me.
