Since I've been spending time writing for Thirty Minute Ponies lately instead of working on my ongoing story, I figured it only fair that I share with everyone what I have been writing. This will be a short-story collection, mostly consisting of my writing for prompts, but if any random little story idea strikes me, I'll post it here as well. Stories will be marked with the tags appropriate to each individual story.

Chapters (44)
Comments ( 32 )

This story was for Prompt #1: "Hush." The prompt was to write a RainbowPie story in which one (or both) of the characters does not utter a single word of dialogue for the entire story.

This story was for Prompt #2: "Appleshocked." The prompt was for Applejack to walk in on a romantic moment between Twilight and Rarity.

This story was for Prompt #3: "Pangs." The prompt was that Twilight is grievously injured and only Pinkie Pie can save her. This was originally only half-finished within the thirty-minute window, but by request, I went back and finished the scene I had in mind.

This was for Prompt #5: "Take Me or Leave Me." The prompt was for Rarity and Fluttershy to have their first big fight.

This is also the single greatest piece of writing I have ever created.

This story was for Prompt #6: "Determination." The prompt was: "Character A has done or is going to do something which will hurt Character B, and A knows they’re going to hurt B, but A is going to do it anyway."

Oh look, a story! I will read!

Nice. Introspection feels a bit like working around the no dialogue rule, but eh, still a great job.

Hey, I wrote on that tumblr too! I remember your stories, specailly the one of prompt 5, that twist killed me! You´re great! :pinkiehappy:

This story was for Prompt #8: "Poetry in Motion." The prompt was to write a story about ponies dancing. Due to the timing of the prompt, I wrote this at work during a fifteen minute break [strike]with a box of scraps[/strike] on an iPhone.

Heart still broken. Just for the record. *sniff*

HEE. I love how you went through and explained how everyone but AJ was accounted for, and I loved AJ's ending line.

I think my fave part was that Applejack was bluffing and really relieved that her bluff didn't get called. Also, I just really like the idea that Pinkie's weird reality-warping abilities are somehow tied to being the bearer of the Element of Laughter.

I love what you did with this prompt. LOVE. Both the concept and execution here are beautiful.

Still love that you chose 'Shy and Rarity for this. They're both so strong, though they may not appear so at first glance.

Six chapters posted in one day.. Hat's off to you.

I enjoyed this very much. I demand more. :ajsmug:

Gee, there's only been, what, over a hundred prompts since I last updated this? It won't be difficult at all to catch up. :facehoof:

Anyway, this story was for Prompt #9: "Such Sweet Sorrow." The prompt was to write a Flutterjack story which included the last words Applejack and Fluttershy ever say to each other.

This story was for Prompt #10: "Red Solo Cup." The prompt was for two ponies to go to a bar and for one to get extremely drunk.

This story was for Prompt #11: "A Night to Remember." The prompt was for the Mane Six to wake up at Sugarcube Corner after a wild night, and for them all to remember what happened differently.

This story was for Prompt #12: "Hide Your Love Away." The prompt was for a pony to be trying to hide a love affair from another pony but to be caught in the act. The risqué choice of lines was totally an attempt to get a rise out of the mod running the prompt. :pinkiehappy:

This story was for Prompt #13: "Lucky Thirteen." The prompt was, "Why is Applejack crying?"

This story was for Prompt #15: "Damsel in Distress." The prompt was for one of the Mane Six to team up with Daring Do to save Rainbow Dash.

Donny's Boy specifically didn't exclude Dash from being the member of the Mane Six that teams up with Daring Do, so I thought for a bit how I could manage that... and I ended up with a story that fuses Daring Do's inherent Indiana Jones references with references to Back to the Future.

This story was for Prompt #16: "Whatever Happened to the Mysterious Mare?" The prompt was, "Whatever happened to the Mare Do Well costume(s)?"

Yes, it is effectively a supervillain origin story starring Rainbow Dash. It was fun to write!

This story was for Prompt #18: "Changes in Our Lives." The prompt was, "When one door closes, another opens." I took it quite literally, as you can see.

“Oh, hey, Owloysius. I was just about to head out to help Pinkie, but feel free-“
“Who.”
“You want to help find Gummy?”
“Who.”
“Well, thanks! Pinkie will really appreciate the help, and an aerial view is sure to make things a lot easier!”
“Who.”

An Owloysius dialog that doesn't do the 'Who?' gag? Are you even allowed to do that?:twilightoops:

Too late, I'm gonna illegally download it and you can't stop me :trollestia:

Looks like this chess game just turned into a...
:rainbowsunglasses:
...Twilight Struggle. :yeaaaaahhhh:

So much potential for hilarity. :rainbowwild::rainbowlaugh: I wish I could thumb up and favorite this again.:pinkiehappy:
I wouldn't mind seeing a full length story done with this.:twilightsheepish:

I mean, she likes cake so much, why not pie as well? :pinkiecrazy:

Poor Trixie. Even when she wins, she loses. :fluttercry:
