Princess Celestia and Princess Twilight Sparkle are very excited. After more than a few misses, Twilight is now close to the end of her first pregnancy. The happy couple couldn’t feel more blessed than they are now.
When Twilight goes for a check up, she receives news that she wasn't quite ready for and begins to question if she is prepared to raise their foal. What if she does something wrong? What will she do?
She fears her foal will never want to call her mom.

Actually, given that the Journal of the Two Sisters states that Alicorns have the three different types of pony in them (Earth, Pegasus and Unicorn), they both have Earth pony blood in them.
It might actually imply, in Foals' universe, that the alleles for earth pony might be slightly more dominant. And given we know next to nothing canonically about Twilight's extended family, nor Celestia's parents, we don't know anything about their lineage to be able to say.
Two things I wonder, 6455195: where did Everfree as the last name come from? I don't recall seeing that in Canon material. Also, is Twilight equally immortal as Celestia is in this story?

At the end of that story (before it went on hiatus), weren't Twilight and Celestia thinking of adopting Eclipse? Did that not work out, was it one of the "few misses" mentioned in the description, or will this now give the couple a second foal to care for?

Pregnancy I assure you. As for The Twilight Of Her Singularity. I took down the last chapter to rewrite it before my shoulder injury got as bad as it is. I'm slowly working on it and it'll be put back up then.

I like the idea that Twilight and Celestia's child could be an earth pony as the magic used to from it could of caused the change as they are both female and the magic need to fuel the pregnancy caused the child to lack it's own. Well written and love the story.
